Police: Man Faces Unrelated Sex Charges, But Was One Of The Last People To See Girl
- "missing 12-year-old girl...Police have said they believe Brooke may have been headed to meet someone with whom she had been communicating online.
On Friday, Vermont State Police director Col. James Baker said the investigation centered on contacts Brooke made on the MySpace.com social networking site."
12-year-old missing after meeting someone online (MySpace.com).
12-year-old was communicating online trying to as some post stated - "finding a partner".
I don''t know about the rest of you, but back when I or my kids was or were at that age - 12 - we were expected to stay in school and focus on the academic affairs!
12-year-old in the process of "finding a partner"?
Eh - any parent does not see anything wrong with this story?
This girl is not the first (victim) - sigh - the way folks don''t see anything wrong - sigh - more missing (victims) are coming.
Stay in school and receive a decent education and you will meet someone along that path! - Reply to this comment

- I am a father w/ 4 daughters and I can''t imagine what her parents are going through. I work here in IA as a volunteer EMT and firefighter and we have gone on more than one search for missing people adults and children alike. It is a grim task for all those that search and from what I have seen, be it an accident or something more sinister it is all the same to a parent that loses a child.

- I can''t believe I am saying this but codymac is right about this one. We all do pray that she is alive and well but odds are very much against it after 24 hours.

Of course we''re all praying and hoping that she is alive and well. Honestly for the most part the arguement isn''t even about brooke at this point. Unfortunatly it''s gone beyond that. And we''ve lost sight of the real issue. A child is missing. We all hope she is found alive and well. - Reply to this comment
- okay - stop talking about kids being murdered. we don''t know if she is alive or dead. she''s just missing for now. we need to stay vigilant and hope that she stays alive and returns home. for all anyone knows she may not even have been abducted. she may have just run away from home. nothing is for certain yet. so please stop talking about murdered kids. it''s disheartening. pray that brooke is unharmed and makes it home.

Statistically speaking more white children are murdered in the USA than black children. So, it would make sense that you would see more about white children being killed in the news than black children being killed, cause IT JUST HAPPENS MORE OFTEN!! - Reply to this comment

No, say the real reason why you''re shutting up. Because you were proven wrong. I think everyone will have SO much more respect for you if you just admit that the facts have proven you wrong. - Reply to this comment
