I carry and obey the law. I will fight to protect what is mine and even for what is yours if i see someone making you a victim. Your right. I never found God, not in a foxhole, not after 52 years of searching. Like any bad investment yoiu eventually admit it was bad and move on. here is a law. No one convicted of a felony can buy or own a firearm. The exception being a convicted felon in some cases can appeal huis case to the court after so many years and get his right to own a firearm reinstated. The problem with guns is that a criminal doesn''t carre what the law is. I like toldyouso12 can go into any major city in the U.S. and buy a gun or drugs within 30 minutes without even being known by the seller. Make the punishment fit the crime and hang these criminals out to dry.

When i was in England they had a law that if you robbed a bank and got caught you get 10 years in prison, if you robbed a bank using a gun and were caught you got 30 years. I think it is a great idea. Make the punishment fit the crime. I wouldalso like to see the person serve the full sdentence. The only reason they have parole is overcrowding in the prisons and this is a way to make room for new offenders. If they had to serve their full sentence then maybe they would think more before committing the crimes.

For those who have misconceived ideas about a bullet prooof vest being safe. I had two police friends killed in the line of duty three months apart on drug raids wearing vests. One was using a ram when the door opened the perp started firing, he bent over so the officrs behind him could return fire. A bullett passed thru his shoulder missing the vest and straight thru his heart killing him instantly. The other officer was searching a house and the perp shot him in the back below the vest and thru the kidnys, he bled to death on the way to the hospital. hey help but they are not totalt protection.

When someone reports these places for any illegal activity, sometimes action is taken sometime not. I reported thru out intelligence system where ben laden is at and i know at least one other American who did the same. Noone has gone to get him. It is politics and a matter a lot of illegal activity gets nothing done about it because of payoffs.
