1 - The 12ga shotgun is for dove, goose and Turkey.
2 - The 20ga shotgun is my wife''s for skeet.
3 - The 410ga shotgun was for my children and now grandkids.
4,5 - The high powered rifles are for deer (one for me, one for who I introduce to hunting).
6 - the .22 is for squirrels (open sights)
7 - the .380 is my personal carry.
8 - the .45 is my evening/night at home weapon
9 - the .38 is my wife''s evening/night at home weapon
10 - the .22 pistol is what gets most of the mileage at the range to practice accurracy and with the grandkids.
I also have about 24 box end wrenches in my Craftsman toolbox in the garage. One of each size.
I also have about 8 screwdrivers in that tool box - because just one won''t fit all purposes. - Reply to this comment
- My exact point yesterday, any criminal will utilize other weapons, if guns are not available, such as knives, cars, broken glass, metal bar, club or even bombs and bombs kill alot of people...you name it
So you are right, Knife crime is up in London now, and if you have any knowledge of anatomy/physiology, you will know that stabbing wounds are equally damaging as bullet wounds

- The mainstream media NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES reports the stories where an average citizen defends themselves with a gun, NEVER. THe mayors of the cities with the HIGHEST violent crime rates are the same ones with the STRICTEST gun laws????? It will be interesting to see if allowing citizens to defend themselves will change those statistics. If it does change the rate of violent crime forthe BETTER, the public will never hear about it, once again the leftwing anti-gun media will be defening with their silence.

- Do you have a hobby? In that hobby don''''t you like to collect the things that go with that hobby? Many Gun owners own them for hobby type purposes, hunting, etc. Different types of animals, different types of guns. Different types of targets (distance etc), different types of guns.

That is a freak accident. And he shouldn''t have spent time in jail. But it still proves my point that a responsible gun owner needs to be better trained. ok, so if the kid was running up the ridge, away from the back of the house, does that mean the kid was already running away when he shot off the gun? So, he should have just left it alone, called the cops and made a report. - Reply to this comment
- In Japan, with strict gun laws:
"Japan knife attack leaves 7 dead, LA Times, June 9, 2008"
"A knifeman has killed at least eight pupils in a rampage at their school in western Japan. BBC News, Friday, 8 June, 2001"
Are these a statistical regularity or isolated incidents which require corrective action against knife ownership.
