There was ONLY ONE Punishment for this heinous crime...a Public Beheading with a rusty axe on the town common.

When are we going to bring those back?

This country and it''s "No-Justice" system is a pathetic joke.

He''ll spend the rest of his life in a controlled environment with meals provided and his health care covered. That''ll teach him.

HamiltonGRAD, punishment serves no purpose, eh? What would society be like if we just looked the other way after every murder, rape, theft, etc? I''m assuming nothing bad has ever happened to you.

The court passed down his sentence (not us). Hope that makes you feel better.

His fellow prisoners can blanket him with compassion and understanding.

By GOD ! There an advertisement on this site from the GOV"T about protecting your PET ! Where is there any programs/ support/ gov''t financial aid and other understanding support $ for husbands in crisis ?

Are men too stressed in today''s society ?
Obviously yes.
Any one man is not responsible under today''s conditions, we all are !
Blaming is so easy to do, becuse it makes us feel better, when we should look toward outselves. WE are all to blame.

COLLEGE PROFESSOR COMMENTS, AGAIN...
WHAT Right DO WE HAVE TO BLAME ?

Punishment and BLAME do not serve any purpose, and it certainly will not make us a better society.
Where is the COMPASSION in this article. What drove this man to act out in this way ? What bonds of marriage did she break ? We do not know. At times society has to step back and ask where did this rage come from.
A newborn is a clean slate, a child becomes a man, and then enters into a legal and emotional contract with a "partner", man or woman. If that contracted union goes wrong, isn''t it the fault of both signers of the contract, and isn''t it the responsibility of the STATE as well ? What support - emotional or financial or medical- did we take away when he needed support the very most ?
Society as to learn not to be so quick to BLAME.
By looking beyond this, we free ourselves from the burdens of other''s guilt.
The man needs our compassion, and understanding. Not a simple minded BLAME game.

This news site is slow. The sentence has already been passed.

"A British man convicted of shooting to death his 9-month-old baby and American wife as they cuddled together in bed showed no reaction Thursday as he was sentenced to two life prison terms without the opportunity for parole."
