There is always the demand side to any supply/demand "commodity." There would be no need for pimps to intice the children into prostitution if there were no buyers. It is like drugs, the Feds try to crack down on the supply, but there would be no reason to supply if there were no buyers. While that is fairlyland in Nirvana, it is still true.

Sure, we can blame the courts and the pimps. But the truth is, the problem lies within society because we let these kids fall through the cracks. Get rid of the pimps and predators and you would still have homeless kids with no future. Would you rather they turn to violent crimes? Where are they going to go? What would you have them do? You can''t blame the kids... they have no clue where to go or who to trust, so they turn to the first person who befriends them and that usually turns out to be someone who takes advantage of their naiveti. You all need to look at the underlying issues instead of frothing at the mouth seeking justice. The pimps are the result of the problem not the other way around.
