"OK, I''''''''ll give you that. But my point still stands of the tremendous influece of the Bible on all of society since it''''''''s creation. Especially after the invention of the printing press. The Book is unlike any other. History proves that because so many lives have been changed for the better. That is not an accident but a Divine intention."

Of course - it''''s the most widely read book on the face of the planet. It''''s an excellent read, and filled with wonderful poetry and vivid details. It tells that, despite all the ills that happen around you, God still loves you. Who wouldn''''t be changed after hearing and reading that?

This is also the reason why there are people that believe in other holy texts as well - something within the text calls to their soul, and they feel transformed by it. This is why I agree with the idea that it''''s not the faith one practices, but rather that the person HAS faith to begin with, that leads to their salvation.

Hypocrites.......

Dear lord save me from your followers,
Amen.

P.S. Can you please rapture them soon?

Admit it midland666, you''re life would be pretty boring without us Christians to mock. Aren''t you glad that we love you and would not do you any harm, unlike some extremists in certain faiths.

"C. S. Lewis was a hardcore former atheist, and one read of the Bible changed all of that."

That''''s a bit of an over-generalization. He attended the Church of Ireland until the age of 15, when he became an atheist. He re-converted at age 33. His conversion was a thought-out process, and told in "Surprised By Joy". He, in fact, made his decision for re-conversion while on a trip to a zoo.

No mention from you about these "Palestinians" who teach their children to become suicide bombers for "allah" and brainwash them at the youngest age to hate the Jews, hate Israel, hate the USA, and kill all of the "infidels" (non believers of Islam).

This is what the young "Palestinian" children are taught. This is a KNOWN FACT. They are taught to become suicide bombers for "allah". No mention from midland666 about this however. He already knows this is occurring, that''''s why. He''''s just a Christian and Jew hater, which is why he doesn''''t bring it up.
