Obama is a treacherous individual. He appears to be courting Hillary but all he wants is her big money donors. Hillary has resigned herself to the fate that she will have nothing else to do with obama''s campaign other then bring in the money. Obama will discard Hillary as soon as he gets what he wants. Americans'' have very short attention spans. Politicians talk in short "sound-bites" when in front of TV cameras. If you want more detailed, in-depth info just go to their websites and you''ll find all the details you want.

I don''t think ANY politician can make it as high as the US Senate and not bump up against some corrupt people along the way. That''s just a given - it''s unavoidable. Unless it forms a consistent pattern it''s nothing to be overly concerned about, I don''t think.

I don''t put much importance on the Wright, Farakhan, church, Renzsko, etc. stuff. It''s been WAY overblown, for one thing.

Obama probably did as much sleeping and daydreaming in church as the average guy does. He was willing to defend something Wright had said many, many years before out of simple loyalty and consideration, I imagine.

However, when Wright began appearing on Sunday morning TV news shows to put his more controversial statements into context, and it actually seemed to be making matters worse but he wouldn''t shut up, Obama had no choice but to distance himself from the man.

Wright should have just laid low. I saw his sermons on video, and I actually think he made some VERY valid points. Many Americans would like to deny that, but Wright was actually right, so far as I could see.

Still, Wright should have sensed the delicacy of the situation, and just stayed out of it. He didn''t, and I think Obama did exactly the right thing in response.
