- Remember the Gulf of Tonkin incident in the run-up to the Vietnam War, which provided the justification for turning our then small presence in Vietnam into a full-blown war which dragged on for a over decade, squandered trillions of taxpayer dollars, and killed millions of people? It later came to light that the Gulf of Tonkin incident was ENTIRELY FABRICATED by that other illustrious mental giant from Texas, Lyndon Baines Johnson. Fellow Texan Bush did the same by manipulating intelligence and lying through his teeth for YEARS to the American public. Texas grows BIG STUPID LIARS WHO CAN''''T THINK THEIR WAY OUT OF A PAPER BAG. Let''''''''s never make the mistake of electing another dimwit from Texas to the office of president.

- George W. Bush has always had a cold, distent relationship with the senior George, who much preferred Jeb over his namesake. Dubya is what he has always been, mamma''''s boy who always browbeat George senior into bailing out her baby whenever he got into trouble or scr*ewed up (which was often). However in Richard Bruce Cheney little Georgie found a spiritual father figure. One who was more then happy to whisper into little Georgie''''s ear after 9-11 that an invasion of Iraq would be the perfect way to show up the old man. Invade Iraq and do what George senior wouldn''''t or couldn''''t do. Be a bigger and better man then Jeb, show up Papa and make Mama proud all at the same time. So little Georgie, in his tiny fevered little mind, became a devoted member of the Neoconservative movement and launched a war based completely on lies that led to the slaughter of tens of thousands of innocent people, including more then 4000 of our troops and cost the US more then 1 trillion dollars. For that he deserves to be arrest, tried, found guilty and then hanged. The same with his puppet-master Cheney. Between the two of them they have committed one of the greatest war atrocities since the 1940s. Hang them both as the warmongering murderers that they are.

- Of course those ruthless *** made blind loyalty an essential condition of employment. Of course Scooter put the CIA agents'' lives in danger: pursuit of W''s political ends justifies any means they choose
& the truth should never be an impediment. If the inconvenience of a prosecution & conviction on multiple felonies occurs, well you can count on your pal to nullify the judge''s & jury''s decisions. In Bush''s Justice Dept., prosecutors will be fired if they even try to investigate (much less indict or prosecute) Republicans or refuse to pursue bogus cases (where''s Don Siegelman?)against Democrats. Then they stonewall & dare anyone to hold them accountable
Yes, this administration has been saying "F--- you!"
to the American people for 7 1/2 years & this is merely one of its sorriest chapters. And the #1
offender is Carl Rove. That he has never been indicted shows our system is a JOKE. Don''t try to make McClellan the scapegoat; he''s only the messenger. - Reply to this comment

- "Oh, sorry you do not know why we invaded Iraq. I thought you did. Here''''s some help:
In August 1990, Iraq seized Kuwait but was expelled by US-led, UN coalition forces during the Gulf War of January-February 1991. Following Kuwait''''s liberation, the UN Security Council (UNSC) required Iraq to scrap all weapons of mass destruction and long-range missiles and to allow UN verification inspections. Continued Iraqi noncompliance with UNSC resolutions over a period of 12 years led to the US-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003 and the ouster of the SADDAM Husayn regime. Coalition forces remain in Iraq under a UNSC mandate, helping to provide security and to support the freely elected government. The Coalition Provisional Authority, which temporarily administered Iraq after the invasion, transferred full governmental authority on 28 June 2004..."

So that''s what it was! I thought it had something to do with that Bin Laden guy. Silly me! If Mr. Bush would have said this instead of all that brain washing stuff.....no I still would not have agreed to his selfish war! - Reply to this comment

Ok, Saddam was a bad guy, no argument there. But that does not justify all the lies, the hit job on the CIA agent, the renditions, the fabrication of phoney evidence, the politicization of government institutions, the shredding of the constitution, and on and on. Not to mention the total and complete incompetence in the prosecution of the war. Any Marine can tell you that if you take an enemy position, the first thing you do is prepare for a counterattack. But Bush/Cheney believed Jeffersonian Democracy was gonna break out all over the place. Unbelievable STUPIDITY!! And all you armchair patriots out there cheering ''em on. Gawd!! - Reply to this comment

- bhoogren, your throwing too many true facts at these bush hating libs, the lies they have been told by the trolls at move.on are now being exposed and they are having trouble with this new reality. As time goes by they will understand that the true liars were the Dems who spewed these falsehoods in order to win in the 06 elections.

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them.
That is our bottom line."
President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998
This was a quote from President Clinton during a presentation at the Pentagon defending a decision to conduct military strikes against Iraq.
.....
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq''s weapons of mass destruction program." President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998
Bill Clinton went to the Pentagon on this occasion to be briefed by top military officials about Iraq and weapons of mass destruction. His remarks followed that briefing.''

"Iraq is a long way from USA but, what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."

- Here''''s the part you buried in your long winded official sounding exlaination that has a problem.
The "noncompliance" was fiction created by the Bush administration as an excuse to wack the guy who tried to wack W''''s dad and establish a foothold in the Middle East for the democratic way.

- Bush and Cheney lied us into invading, conquering and oppressing a nation that had nothing to do with 9-11, simply because war is very very profitable for the private contractors involved. That''s it. That''s what the loss of tens of thousands of innocent Iraq civilians and the murder of more then 4000 of our troops was all about. Money. Blood Money.
Hang them both. - Reply to this comment
