Put lipstick on that pig
and you would have had
50 Iowa farmers risk their
lives to save it.

Good citizens of Iowa,
To avoid this problem in future floods
I propose you pass a law that:

1. Requires all pigs to be properly pedicured;

2. Requires all pigs to be properly fitted with
comfortable shoes/sneakers;

3. Provide inflation devices for pigs.

what I want to know is if the meat was put to good use, such as feeding the families that were victimized by the flooding and are unable to provide for their children,

And how are they going to COOK or store this when their house and STOVE are under water??
Pork is NASTY filth and these animals are kept in the most vile filth imaginable- many die of suffocation from the ammonia fumes caused by millions of gallons of liquified CHIT these factory farms produce every year.

Time to BOYCOTT meat.

Stranded Pigs Shot To Save Iowa Levees

That''''ll sure cut down on the GOP vote in Iowa this year..

Hardly, they all would be killed ANYWAY- they all are- they are LIVESTOCK, their only reason for even being these days is for profits of a few mega corporations- many of which hire illegal imigrants like the one in the news owned by a couple of Jews that was raided and had over 300 of them, they claimed they had no idea they were all illegals!!!

They are also exposed on video for horrific animal abuse and ghastly killing methods.

So these hogs getting shot is nothing compared to the
animal version of auschwitz they were living in and would die in.

The other white meat.

CiitzenUSA and FeelFree and jackie0428 on these forums are the only ones who are funny and clever. The rest of you need to get a life and not dwell so much on pigs. For pete''''s sake, they''''re PIGS.

Oh, and no, I wasn''t being sarcastic. I was being, I think "facetious" is the word. I''d love to have some BBQ pork, but I''m not driving to Iowa to get it.

Anyway, sometimes you just got to do what you''ve got to do. They''re only pigs afterall.

Pity poor bhoogren and minnick8, both little old spinster ladies, at home with their 25 cats. And their idea of humor? Yep, that would be "Mr. Ed" and "Hogans Heroes". Cutting edge stuff.

"I know you are being sarcastic, but the BBQ is right after you go to the store and buy properly preserved meats. Sorry, but pigs left as road kill in a flood will make good pickings for the buzzards.

Posted by minnick8 at 11:47 AM : Jun 19, 2008"

Depends on what you mean by "properly preserved". When I kill a pig, I like to let it hang in a cooler for a day or two. But a freshly killed hog goes well on the grill too. I wouldn''t turn down a plate with a side of potato salad and fried okra for sure.

So:

One little piggy went to market;

One little piggy stayed home;

And the last little piggy
drove his chevy to the levy,

only to be shot and left for
road kill.

What a rhyme!

Think I''ll have a donut now.

We don''t kill a hog, pig, and let it rot. Even if 4 of us has to carry it out. Within 4 hours , it''s on a cooking pit somewhere, KILLING ALL THE BACTERIA, that never got a chance to get started. All of you fancy good deed doers, are going to be really hungry some day. And you will pray that some backwoods people, would come out and give you some of that FINE meat, just so you can stay alive. I honestly believe there are Iowa citizens, right this second, wish they had one of the pigs and a match.

You know, it''s sad...the poor pigs probably had a crappy life on a *** filled farm, they made a dash for freedom, their hearts pounding in fear and anticipation...and they were smarter than they were given credit for...they found a little slice of freedom...then POW! The irony of it all.

Gullible "minnick8" is proof there ARE two kinds of people in the world. People who have a sense of humor, and people who don''t. If you''re over 18 and still can''t spot the obvious differences between tongue-in-cheek and literal, gee perhaps your parents did a substandard job in the child-raising dept.
