Typical troll.

When you prove them mathematically wrong, ALL THEY DO IS LAUGH.

Shows they never took the subject seriously in the first place.

And no, 100 is the MULTIPLIER, not the denominatior. You just proved what a math moron you are.

To what little I''''ve have been able to to make sense of with "conservatives".

First off, they are conservative with everyone but themselves.

Tell you what boy....You study up on the definition of "conservatism" in the sense I use it, and I promise to look up the definition for that big two dollar word you like to toss around.

What was it: Ogalthercy??

I''m sure you''ll become a better American, and I''ll learn something I likely still won''t care to know.

OK, you ARE a math moron.

Social Security is "heavy" because NOBODY HAS BEEN ABLE TO MODIFY IT. It''s such a fat, juicy DEMOCRAT ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM that nobody can touch it.

It''s going insolvent today because the life expectancy is now WAY MORE THAN 65 YEARS (which is was when it started). Originally, the system worked because HALF THE PEOPLE WOULD DIE before age 65.

Second, NOBODY EXPECTED THE BABY BOOM back in the 1930''s. Social Security is completely unable to cope with a FALLING BIRTH RATE as we saw in the 1960''s.

It has been modified to REDUCE BENEFITS in recent years. First they raised the retirement age to 67 - a paltry but valiant effort. Second, they offered EARLY BENEFITS at age 62, which REDUCES TOTAL LIFETIME BENEFITS PAID DRAMATICALLY.

But all of this is too little, too late. SOCIAL SECURITY WILL BE RUNNING ON DEFICIT SPENDING within a decade. We will be buying Social Security bonds, along with Medicare and Midicaid bonds because those programs will be unsustainable with current revenue very soon.

Current war debt will look tiny in comparison to old age debt. Our nation will eventually default when all government revenue is insufficient to pay the interest.

Then we''ll collapse under our own weight like the Soviet Union did. And for many of the same reasons.

Typically corporations report gross sales...

Are you a math moron? Do you KNOW what a denominator is???

Sounds like YOU''''RE the one who''s singing FEEELLLIIINNNGGGSSS...

Gross sales are INFLATED BECAUSE OF HIGH PRICES. If their GROSS SALES were based on HALF THE PRICE (as they should be), then their profit would be

SIXTEEN PERCENT (that''''s 16%)!!!

How does that compare to Costco?

LOL!! Honestly, there is no way to respond to the foolishness you just excreted on this board. LOL!!!

BTW: the denominator you keep screeming about for the percentage I mention is 100.

HOW MANY MEMBER OF CONGRESS ARE BABY BOOMER???

Bill Clinton: born 1946
George W Bush: born 1946
Joseph Hazelwood: born 1946
Hillary Clinton: born 1947
Barack Obama: born 1961 (a "late boomer")

HOW MANY OTHERS BELONG ON THIS LIST???

How many republicans are geriatric right wing gentry whose only goal is to protect their concerns and otherwise have no vision for a future posterity.

It would simply be a number too high to post due to time and text limitations.

I took the time and went to the US Government Energy Department and discovered that they do not see any benefits by further offshore drilling. To surmise that coupled with the cost and time needed to build the drilling infrastructure. It would be around the year 2030 before it would be in my gas tank. Therby risking the livelihoods of millions who depend on Tourism. I found it quite strange that big Oil have drilling permits for over 86 million acres, however they have not drilled and are not intending to in the near future. There is absolutely no need for lifting the moratorium. Look to renewable Energy and make it a national project like under Rosevelt, which put people back to work and bettered our infrastructure. This is what I envision in Obama''s plan. Do a little research and you will agree. It''s really Americas''s turn to prosper.

And through the decades democrats have delivered.

[Thus with this you openly admit, your vote has been for sale all this time?]

Since that time this warped right wing ideology has been looking to unseat the work of Roosevelt. Rush Limbaugh "Roosevelt is dead, but his policies live on, but were working to do something about them too" That fat azz*ed hoe of right wing oligarchic kickbacks benefitted from a nation influenced by Roosevelt. His white trash origins would have kept him in the cave had this nation not changed with Roosevelt bringing new opportunity to the masses. Right wingers stagnate. They are conservative with everyone but themselves. Oh my, do you truly believe today anything FDR implemented resembles what it was originally designed to be? If so I gotta ask again....Does the 18 represent your age, or your IQ potty mouth?

Social Security is getting so heavy due to the way your libwad buddies have modified it, I won''t be shocked to see it eventually destroy America. Have you seen the new tweeks OsamaObama has outlined for it?? LOL!!!

The only conserving I speak about is the conservation of the US Constitution as written....I know nothing about how a bunch of Germans used the term some 150 years back.

To what little I''ve have been able to to make sense of with "conservatives".

First off, they are conservative with everyone but themselves.

They benefit from what has been a free open democratic system that has by public participation created the best roads, schools, water, sewer systems, fire and police protection. This was done with elements of private business that was kept in check by government oversight which the republican party assaulted starting with Reagan. Now we face privatized oligarchic rule that has been buying the government through wealthy lobbies, our representatives, to solely represent the oligarchs.

You may say you have never been a neo con but if you were so smart, why were you spending years voting for this very un-american ideological assault which has played on the prejudice of the people dividing them against each other while multinational corporations have been draining this infrastructure that our fathers fought to build. Haliburton, Cheney, like parasites they will move to a new host after they suck the blood from this one. This is the definition of traitor.

I disagree strongly following what OsamaObama openly declared yesterday as he shot the majority of Americans the middle finger of defiance.

If OsamaObama is elected to control the Executive Branch and the Democrats pick up even more seats in Congress. Maybe a fillibuster proof Senate?

If this happens, Uncle Sam might as well drop his pants, bend over and grab his ankles, because this "Spec bubble" will lift off and the sky will be the limit.

Why should it even stop at say $10 a gallon??

If I tell a business, I want your product, and I will pay whatever you want to charge me for it, and absolutely nothing will cause me to consider your competition.....Where do you think the price will go?

This is basicly what OsamaObama and his fellow Democrats in Congress told OPEC yesterday.

I totally agree. Their recent failure to act on record oil company profits it a recent glaring example.

Partisan election year politics was employed to PRETEND they were acting while creating partisan gridlock to make sure NOTHING REALLY HAPPENED so they could protect their oil company contributions.

CHECK THEIR BIRTH DATES. How many fall in the range 1946-1964???

CUT THE PARTISAN CRAPOLA. It isn''t the Democrats. It isn''t the Republican. IT''S THE BABY BOOMERS.

Alot of posters seem to suggest that our corporations are being fed on by our government. Yet, when these corporations are on the ropes, its the government that generally kicks in to help them back on their feet: Chrysler, the Airlines after 911, there are many examples.

I find it hard to weep at poor ol'' Exxon, or to complain about the horrid windfall taxes we may have them pay for basically running equipment we gave them tax CUTS for as they were setting them up and developing them.

The fact is that Beastie, like mudrose, idolize Cheney in particular for what Cheney did for Halliburton and the AMEX symbol ($)XOI...

lolll...the fact is, everything this Administration has done was to improve that 10 year chart above...and as you can see, they have been very successful.
