This is exactly what this society is. Nobody could ever correct anybody; there is no binding culture to speak of. There is no unifying tradition in this country. Every body in this society is "the king of his castle", how could you expect the children raised in this kind of environment to conform to any norm? There is no norms in this society.
Remember, this is a society in which a parent could go to jail for simply raising his/her voice in disciplining his/her child. Many a teacher''s career has been ruined for simply putting a student in his/her place in the course of disciplining a student.
Sure, there are unfit parents, teachers, elders and all that, out there, but it is not everybody who tried to help raise the kinds in the right way is a monster. Remember that, they say "it takes a village to raise a child". Well..., this ''village'' is missing in this sprawling ''urban'' society.
Unless we re-instituted that ''village'' this sprawling ''city-society'' is bound to disintegrate. God-forbids.

This is horrible that someone would attack and hit a woman for her purse. This shows that some people have no good in them. When you would do this to someone you would surely kill just as easily having no morals at all.

Don''t waste your time condeming what he did. Blacks will always stand up for blacks no matter what they do. Their attitude of not wanting blacks to take responsiblity for their actions is wrong on so many levels. Yet they ask whites to take responsiblity for what our forefathers did.

FeelFreee4U - What you say is true, from the observations of one who is neither black nor white. The pendulum has swung the other way, and blacks are still the most vocal. That will change. I have no answers, but I do know this: this world will not be such a bad place to leave after all.
