1. So it''s ''no big deal''! This says tons about the value system of Kozinski''s fellow judges!

2. It was suggested that having this material wouldn''t impair his reputation. Evidently, this is common behavior among judges!

3. There is no indication this is ''obscene''?! Maybe in Chemerinsky''s neighborhood, but most people I know think a picture of two nude women on all fours painted to look like Holstein dairy cows, images of masturbation, a video of a man being pursued by a sexually aroused donkey and a slide show featuring a striptease with a transsexual are obscene!

4. It appears the public lives a ''sheltered life'' compared to your basic politician, judge, and deans of law schools!

5. If Chemerinsky''s comments reflect Kozinski''s brethren, can we expect a real investigation will take place? Answer: NO!

6. Congress needs to get off its'' rearend and fire Kozinski. It should be fairly easy, he''s not ''one of their own'', and it will ''clean up'' the federal judiciary! It would be positively interpreted by the public, if Congress sacked him!

Although CON-servatives have been the loudest in condemning him, Reagan first nominated Kozinski for the 9th Circuit in 1985.
Bush elevated him to Chief Judge last year, 2007. So three guesses who was considering him for the Supreme court...
