"We expect more from a judge," said Laurie Levenson

Sorry cupcake....you''re dealing with the 9th circus. I wouldn''t be shocked to find out that similar behavior doesn''t go on in their chambers.

DSR57 ..that may be the type of emails YOU GET but trust me...not everyone is into the sick stuff. He is not just a person, he is a Federal judge, who should, have some morals.

Have some Morals?????? What did he do that was Illegal?

And where do you draw the line on what''s Moral and what''s not? I''m pretty sure Your morals are different than the person that sits next to you at work and the person that sits next to him and so forth.

I''m also pretty positive that morals will differ in age groups also What someone at age 60 finds Disgusting a 20 Year old will find hilarious

Yeah maybe I''M the only person who gets those emails. Good point...Grow a sense of humor *********

Just another nut job only this time it is a high ranking Federal Judge. He is above the law, above the ethics, if any apply, of his profession, above a normal level of common sense. He is, after all, a sitting Federal Judge who should at the very least project and maintain a judicial image. But then again, who the blazes respects judges these days?

Not only that but I demand a psychiatrist
to evaluate this need to build computers,
write video game reviews, upload and download
questionable material in an apparent effort
to, involve myself in and think about, anything
else that I can to avoid actually applying
thought to juris prudence . .and a doctor of
internal medicine to check chemical causality
and a marriage counselor for me and my wife and
a lie detector for me and my sons and a
chiropracter to check if this kink in my neck
figures into anything and a weight loss doctor
to offer overweight depression as a
consideration and someone adept in physiognomy
to see if the meaning of facial features
reflected in my morning mirror might set
the tone of the day.

DSR57 - If a judge lives in your neighborhood and everytime you see him he''s in a drunken state, how much respect would you have for him?
Would you want him to be the judge for your case in court, or would you hope to get a different judge? How would a judge, who is an alcoholic, rule in a drunken driver case? If he declares the drunk driver innocent, you will blame it on the drunken judge. If the judge convicts the drunken driver to jail you will call him a hypocrit.
There''s a reason there are certain positions in this world that hold not only a position of honor but there is a certain behavioural standard placed on an idividual of this position.
You ask, how many people in these positions also have such problems as this guy? Well, the sad truth is that many of these folks do have personal problems, habits and have made mistakes. However, as soon as questonable actions like this becomes public or comes to light, he should resign and go stock milk in a grocery store.

"Character counts for judges..."
What world did she wake up in this morning? What a crock. The 9th Circus are actually some of the better judges around. Spend time on some of the really corrupt ones around.
Anyway at least he can argue that the moo girls were actually part of a promotion to sell insert brand name here computers to people of exotic tastes.

The most important thing I read that he was considered for a Supreme Court Judgeship...guess by who? George W. Bush, the Supreme Commander of the soon to be outlawed Neorepublican party.

He''s part of the very machine you''''re talking about.

Exactly. And he''s apparently a real person with all the flaws the rest of us have... and admits to them, which is certainly rare these days. That was not not ''evil''... it was a man having a laugh or a harmless fantasy. And it''s none of your d**n business. Period.

On January 10, 2009 book deals abound...I''d bet a least 25-30 books to come out between now and 2010. Too bad "W" don''t read, but maybe Mrs. Laura will help him.

I''m glad to see so many of you out there are saints, although my halo is just slightly askew. There was nothing on this guys site that any man on this planet wouldn''t laugh his a$$ off or drool over and much tamer than the emails my jock-ular friends send me every day. Granted, it would have been better for him had this not come to light, but even at that it doesn''t even rate as a misdomeanor let alone a news event had it not been politically motivated by somebody, somewhere I''m sure. And some people wonder why we''re so possessive of our right to privacy that our government is so determined to do away with. We''ve made it so you have to be a *** to commit to any kind of public life in this country. Anybody in public service is subject to such an intense scrutiny that nobody with any kind of personality, let alone a life, could pass the test of the right wing morals police we''re suffering under today. I respect their opinion, but I''ll be damned (certainly in thier eyes) if I''ll bend a knee to the god of hate and fear they''re preaching. I love my country... I have its symbol tattooed on my body... I''ve served... I''ve lost... I''ve won. I''ll never buy into the fear they sell. It''s not me, and I hope it''s not America.
