But what if Mary earned a GPA of 8.0, but since she is only allowed to keep 4.0 of it, she has to give the college the other 4.0 of her average? And instead of giving all that extra GPA the college is getting free from students to other students having a tough time, it keeps the extra GPA and wastes it on things like other illegal colleges? Then the college and its supporters complain that people are wanting a "free ride" when they demand some of the free GPA back that the college is getting from them and just wasting?
Now replace "GPA" with the word "taxes" and "illegal colleges" with "illegal war".
Billions in taxes paid to the government, but only a tiny percentage ever gets back to the people - and even that small percentage back gets complained about by some people.

here is the truth nancy,,,
A young teenage girl was about to finish her first year of college. She considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat but her father was a rather staunch Republican.
One day she was challenging her father on his beliefs and his opposition to taxes and welfare programs. He stopped her and asked her how she was doing in school.
She answered that she had a 4.0 GPA but it was really tough. She had to study all the time, never had time to go out and party. She didn''''t have time for a boyfriend and didn''''t really have many college friends because of spending all her time studying.
He asked, "How is your friend Mary." She replied that Mary was barely getting by. She had a 2.0 GPA, never studied, but was very popular on campus, went to all the parties all the time. Why she often didn''''t show up for classes because she was hung over.
Dad then asked his daughter why she didn''''t go to the Dean''''s office and ask why she couldn''''t take 1.0 off her 4.0 and give it to her friend who only had a 2.0. That way they would both have a 3.0 GPA.
The daughter angrily fired back, "That wouldn''''t be fair, I worked really hard for mine and Mary has done nothing".
The father slowly smiled and said, "Welcome to the Republican Party". - Reply to this comment

Torture, excessive use of force and unlawful killings by police and security forces were reported. Most perpetrators of gross human rights violations in the past, including in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD), Papua, and Timor-Leste, continued to enjoy impunity. The situation in Papua remained tense with increasing targeted attacks and threats against human rights activists and church leaders. The number of possible prisoners of conscience increased sharply with up to 76 people detained for peacefully expressing their political or religious views.

What we''''re really looking for is for the politicians on both sides is to abolish extreme partisanism and work together for the good of all of the people instead of the selfish few.

Leftist Support of Islamist Terror
Most shocking is the outright sympathy of many leftist-liberals for Islamic fascism. They said little about the murder of 500 Russian civilians, many of them children, but screamed week after week because some Arab savage at Abu Ghraib prison wore a bag on his head. They cared nothing about the beheadings committed by the Islamo-savages or the execution of 12 Nepalese. David Horowitz gives an excellent discussion of who this "Left" really is. He calls them neo-communist, I call them Leftist-Liberals. I''m a classical Liberal myself and I feel it''s time to remove this irrational element that has been allowed to poison our good name.

- Once upon a time there was a serpent who was badly injured in a fight with another animal. It managed to slither away to safety but would have surely died if a benevolent man had not seen it suffering by the side of the road. The goodly man carefully wrapped the snake up and took it to his house, where he bestowed the kindest and gentlest care on the snake until it was healed and could return to the wild. Just as the man was releasing the serpent back into the grass, the ungrateful snake turned and bit him on the hand.
"What did you do that for?" cried the man, who knew that the bite of this particular snake was usually fatal. "Didn''''t I take care of you when no one else would?"
The snake shrugged (no small feat for a snake!) and replied to the benevolent--and now doomed-- man, "What did you expect? You knew I was a snake when you picked me up."
