Low Expectations For Final Major European Tour As Many There Look Ahead To Successor
- The best legacy that Bush could leave the American people would be not return to the U.S. He could introduce the new season of Lost, forever.

Not a bad thought. There is talk of war-crime charges against several of these clowns - Cheney, in particular. Since we don''t dislike crime enough to impeach a highly impeachable administration, perhaps some of our civilezed friends will help... - Reply to this comment
- When can we start a petition pronouncing Jan 20 a National Holiday? We could call it Rid-o-Bush Day. Maybe on his last trip, the Europeans will feel able to tell him what they really think of him.

- Since he is also not very poular in Europe, I''m not sure why he is even going. The only place he is truly pouplar is in the home of his Father and Mother and when he is with his Wife and daughters. He is definetly a family man.

- Bush Embarks on Final Europe trip and we the taxpayer are paying for the high cost of fuel for Air Force One. Not to mention the gas gussling limo he will probably drive around in. The poor slumps left back in the US that have to pay $4 plus per gallon and rising, have to take various measures in order to save on fuel.
Drive at lower speeds, use public transportaion, don''t overload the car, don''t drive as much, etc. George dosen''t seem to have to make any alterations. No fees to check his bags, drive at the same speed as usual, and well the car is overloaded with an idot in the back seat.
I can''t remember anything accomplished on these type trips. This one sounds more like one to say his goodbyes to other world leaders, since he will be leaving office soon. Given the current ecomonic/fuel price crisis why not video conference instead of travel? The answer is simple, he does not have to becasue he is the "Decider". - Reply to this comment
