Other than not having to pick up the costs of "legalization," I dont give a *** who copulates whith whom.

LOL! This is the exact same argument the KKK used to use against food products being labeled kosher.
Listen, there is this guy running for president who''s name is just one letter away from the worst terrorist in the world, and he''s black, and yet he''s ahead in the polls and has 40 million bucks in contributions in the bank.
To me that means that the era of religious and racial puritanism in the US has finally come to an end.
Go get yourself a bucket of popcorn and enjoy a good movie, dude, because like it or not life is moving on.

Precisely, if employers to provide health care, then it will be mandatory for the same s e x couples to also receive that benefit. I''''m sure it is coming, but is still aggravates me, so sue me.

Obviously suing is not an issue, but observing that you are so irked by the ending of discrimination points to the appearance that you ARE a bigot.

What WILL happen is the end of the discriminatory practice of denying the same benefits to the homosexual employees that their heterosexual co-workers receive.

The legalization of the unions will make it mandatory for all work places to provice health insurance across the board for all the "married," same s e x couples.

Not true. Employers are not required to provide health insurance to their employees, heterosexual nor homosexual.

What WILL happen is the end of the discriminatory practice of denying the same benefits to the homosexual employees that their heterosexual co-workers receive.

I couldn''''t have said it better regarding my feelings about same *** couples. I wish they would stop trying to impose themselves on the rest of society with their asenine beliefs and mental deficiency.
Posted by minnick8 at 10:39 AM : May 31, 2008

For your freaking information, LOVE and S.EX are not mental deficiencies nor are they a belief.

People who accepts homosexuality thinking they are born that way, ignore scientific facts of the international scientific community on this issue.

Posted by libnysr at 10:18 AM : May 31, 2008

Who cares why homosexuals are? Who cares if it is by choice or some kind of genetic mutation?
What matters here is that they are consenting adults.
We are not talking about animals or children here. We are talking about two people who want to be together out love, or just for the sake of it.
One could make a case against any relationship in which one or both partners are getting hurt, but homosexuality is not about hurting people.
It''s about two consenting adults. Period. This is, in fact, a non-issue.

How is the ending of discrimination a forcing of their views on you?

The legalization of the unions will make it mandatory for all work places to provice health insurance across the board for all the "married," same s e x couples. Of course this is what is wanted, since g a y s are now dying at phenomenal rates as a fallout result of the bath house indiscriminant partner exchanges of the 1970s and 1980s. You may call me a heartless *** and I''ll thank you as that is the nicest thing anyone has called me this morning. What I would like to know is why should I have to pay along with the rest of society the astronomical health care costs for the lifestyle when I made other choices (one of which was 35 years of abstinence when I wasn''t married).

Who the H E L L cares what Spain''''s psychiatrists have to say about it? Wasn''''t Spain the birth place of the Spanish inquisition?

Posted by minnick8 at 10:43 AM : May 31, 2008

Right. We''d be much better served accepting the opinions of bigots like yourself than those of people trained in Psychology and Psychiatry who have actually studied the matter......

The two main psychiatric organisations in Spain said in a statement: "The international scientific community does not recognise any pathological character to homosexual behaviour."

These people are out of whack and out of balance and it is our duty as fellow citizens to treat them with the same respect and sympathy we would with any mentally deficient person, but even more important, is to make sure they keep their asenine beliefs to themselves and not allow those beliefs to be imposed on the rest of society.
Thank you.

A flat lie.

Here''s what APA says abou homosexuality:

Is Homosexuality a Mental Illness or Emotional Problem?

No. Psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals agree that homosexuality is not an illness, a mental disorder, or an emotional problem.

The demented aspect of religious freaks, the thing that makes them so insane and a real danger to the entire world is that these folks truly believe that god is watching them fight against the sinners of the world.
It''s like when you''re at work and your boss or the owner of the company walks by and you get on your best behavior doing and saying everything he wants to hear, and you feel like a little good boy doing that. Well, religious freaks imagine themselves fighting to save the world at all costs while god stands on the sidelines rooting for them.

MyOpinion1, do you know what the naturalistic fallacy is?

I was stunned to read your unnatural definition of ***, as I can only imagine people living under strict contact guidelines even attempting to have ''***'' with the extraordinary limitations of what you consider "normalcy." Normality is a social convention. And it is obvious that what is ''normal'' for you really isn''t.

Saying marriage is for procreation is a concept rooted in religion. But there is another legitimate reason for marriage: ''help mate'', something many Bible believers conveniently overlook for the sake of bolstering their own biases. This is the root of the debate: is one of the so-called reasons for marriage the only reason? "Normalcy" would categorically say No.

One of your last faulty assumptions is having *** is "marriage" (3rd from last sentence). I believe that profound selfishness masquerading as righteousness is a disease as well.

People who accepts homosexuality thinking they are born that way, ignore scientific facts of the international scientific community on this issue. Not only that, they ignore the elementary and basic laws of morality and the lessons from history. If you have any respect for the Bible as the Word of God, just read the first chapter of the book of Romans.
