I''ve decided there are several layers to the government.
The one we see - orchestrated to foster the best sense of happiness under the circumstances.
The more boring one of everyday affairs regulated by laws, codes, regulations, SOP''s etc.

- Did he start a war for oil?

Hard to say really, there are a couple of more important factors in my view; for a start the bankers behind the Fed who have profited from this war, by lending out the money to the government to pay for it whilst charging a hefty sum of interest in the process.
Then there is the balance of power in the Middle East-- the logic being if you take out one of the biggest threats to Israel, you will strengthen the position of the Jews, and weaken the others. Of course this has not gone entirely to plan, by strengthening Iran -- unless this was the idea, so that the perception is that we have no choice but to bomb that Country. - Reply to this comment

- No one did. This is a great lie. This same lie was told when President Clinton ordered military action. In addition President Clinton was accused of starting military action to distract attention from the Lewinsky affair.
I was more awake than you seem to be.
