I assume the Department of Justice with all of Bush and Rove''s evangelical crony friends from Texas are going to be any help prosecuting the child molestation, Welfare fraud, $1.2 million dollar contract with the Homeland Security Dept., etc. Its clear these girls can''t look to the Department of Justice for Justice. How sad the absurd decision from the Appeals Court to return these children to a cult, for more brainwashing, sexual abuse, total lack of civil rights for the children, girls and women. SHAMEFUL! If anyone came to me and said my daughter will be the 5th wife to a 50 year old man I would call the police. There are obviously no adults who have a backbone and moral compass to standup for what is right for these children in this cult. SHAMEFUL! What needs to be done is cut off all taxpayer funding, get DNA results, prosecute men impregnating underage girls, and insist that mothers receiving counseling and live in a non-polygamous home to receive their children back. These creepy cult members seem to think they are above the law in the United States. They have their own laws from the middle east from 2-3000 years ago, they think they don''t have to live under American laws. Get the DNA, and the criminal prosecutions moving. All mothers who abided by their daughter having *** with a 40 or 50 year old man is accessory to rape just like the all powerful Warren Jeffs.

Prosecute them for Welfare Fraud. All of the illegal wives are fraudulently collecting our tax dollars and giving the money to the leaders and their cult "spiritual husband". They lie on their Welfare application that they are single and are not living with the father, otherwise they would be refused Welfare. Do a Google search on the words "Bleeding the Beast" there are alot of articles on their many government money scams - STEALING OUR TAX DOLLARS!

You assume that because I question the motives and actions of the state that I support that sect or anyone within it. Then by your own logic, you apparently support fascism.

I personally believe that this FLDS sect is a cult. As with most fundamentalist religions, I find most of their teachings repugnant and inhuman. That said, believing in those teachings is their right -- not a privilege, a right.

That said, I%u2019m sure that within a community of that size, there are some pedophiles. Just as there are within all of America. So locate, identify and prosecute THEM. But leave the rest of the community alone. It is still the moral duty of the government and its states to free a thousand of the guilty rather than risk prosecuting a single innocent.

The photo is exactly like the Swington phone call. IT DOESN%u2019T HAVE TO BE real.
It is presented in this unrelated trial, so that they can later claim, that their agents, knowing about the photo, were acting %u201CIn good faith%u201D So, the only value of the photo is to cover the CPS behind. Again, the whereabouts of the photo are not important now. REMEMBER, the fake phone call worked to perfection for them.

As a few others and I have been harping on about this case all along; this has nothing to do with protecting little girls. This is yet another power play by one of the most fascist states in the U. S.

An appeals court rules that Texas had no right to remove those children in the first place -- and yet they still have most of them in custody! I do wish someone or something would put the State of Texas in its place. I no longer am surprised at the arrogance of the state. Still, Texas works diligently to try.

Yeah, in their arrogance they should have just shrugged of the allegations and ignored them right?

Too bad these young girls being forced into spiritual marriages by the old perverts waiting in line for the next available virgin.

You people really make sense in wanting to take a hit at Texas! Get real!

It''s just too bad that, as is usually the case, law enforcement and justice officials didn''t get their ducks in a row before "going in". Now it''s going to be a lot more difficult to keep these kids safe.

I think CPS screwed up with the en masse removal and not investigating first, especially with the knowledge of the difficulties authorities in other states have had with this cult. Doesn''t make the FLDS beliefs correct, but the cowboy haste may negate or diminish any hope that we could have saved some of the kids from a life of brain washed destructiveness.

Jessop''s comment that a 12 year old girl kissing Warren Jeffs in a wedding picture is preferable to modern society''s ills was disgusting, and truly indicative of how out of whack their minds are. Since when does one wrong justify another?

In the end, as usual, the kids will be hurt, as the adults draw their lines in the sand...

Good. Now they can get back to bending over and wimpering for 45-year-old upstanding, Jesus-loving christian "men". Which ones would Jesus do?
