- Mr. Bush, yer right is not a King. He will not abide by the constution that the fathers wrote. A presadent should know there are 3 branches of the govt written that way for a reason. Not one. The fathers wrote it in case some thing need to be done. That being to remove a power control person/s from office to save this nation from a person in govt that is not following the constution. bush has hurt this nation. I am a daughter of a Vet.

- Under this interpretation, when Obama is elected president, he could send the military to arrest and lock up Cheney and Bush for terrorism for acting contra to the Constitution of the United States. Then see how fast the law would be changed by the Congress. Bush and Cheney have done more damage to the United States than has Al Qaeda, including a greater loss of life in an optional war in Iraq, subverting the Constitution, and destroying our ability to influence international events.

It has been asked and the civil servants say the politically correct things and then disappear into the dark impenetrable forest of politically correct government employment. - Reply to this comment

- Our borders are leaky for a reason. If scary people can''t get in and do bad things, the government seems less important.

- I still would like to know why and how people who were already on terrorist watch lists were allowed into this country legally. I wonder when somebody will ask the big questions?

- The last decision, a 2-1 ruling by a 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel, found that the president had crossed the line and al-Marri must be returned to the civilian court system. Anything else would "alter the constitutional foundations of our Republic," the judges said.
-The prosecuters who shouldered the president in his claim and definition of enemy-combatant should be prosecuted for breaking the constitution. They certainly had conflicting interests in this whole deal. Most probably they had graduated form the AIPAC and DicckCheney''s Haliburton''s lawless school of law. Look it up thoroughly! Release the poor guy and let him raise his family. - Reply to this comment

- without tanks, armies, navies, air forces, generals, countries is al-durka-durka really anything other than regular criminals, albeit dangerous ones? When did we begin, exactly, to deny civil rights here? I was taught of a VERY different America in middle and high school American history. Will the school''s curriculum be changed to reflect the current reality? Or will we lie to our kids about it? Just some question. Boy, have things changed DRASTICALLY in 7 years.
