Its not opec, its the gas stations. I just saw a news report that said a gas station owner was raising the price of gas because there were fewer people coming to the pump.

Here''s what is going to happen. At 4 bucks a gallon, people are going to significantly cut back on driving and thus create a surplus of oil and gasoline. Then Opec will cut production because we can''t store anymore oil and gas. And then oil and gas prices will keep rising on the fear of Opec cutting production.

Well in Europe I hear they get a lot more time to themselves. And they can actually enjoy their vacations, and get some much needed stress relieving rest. Over here there''''s something carpetbaggers call "the work ethic". A thing thats turned CEOs of companies into politicians, and makes everybody break the speed limit.

Believe it or not, over the last years folks here are slowing down to conserve.. even if there is no speed limit posted. Cops will run out of business soon in the US.. radars will be obsolete.. can you imagine?

As a European paying almost 10 bucks per gallon I envy those having to pay only 4. Maybe in the future I can ship my car empty to the US, fill it up and ship it back. My tip.. get used to it.
