- The Taliban almost took over Texas,The constitution was under fire, everyone is entitled to s fair hearing with there accusers present. Some will say they are guilty, because the way they look, dress, color, smell,it''s what makes us different we have freedom of religion, expression, due process,if you tell us they are perverts ,because of what a Ghost or mentally challenged person said then, you should join the Taliban as you think alike.

- And if the marriages were not licensed, then they are not considered a marriage under law, and therefore not prosecutable as Polygamy. What would be the difference between a non-legal marriage and an affair?
And what about all these married men and women in the USA running around having affairs? Does that now mean we can go in and take their kids from them too?

I thought the state was doing DNA on the kids to determine parentage because the children wouldn''t or couldn''t name their parents. If this is true, how could the Mother''s be receiving assistance (tax-payer money)? Would it be fraud if they received state money by lying about their kids...if they couldn''t identify and present birth certificates for each child they are claiming as their own?? Why are these people receiving state asistance at all????
In Tennessee, all these things are required in order to receive assistance of any kind. - Reply to this comment

Actually, I prefer their dress standards to the ones allowed in schools nowadays..... - Reply to this comment
- Clearly the state should appeal the ruling to the state supreme court & maintain custody while that battle is dragged out in court.
Whether the state ultimately prevails or not this will allow the state to retain custody while the investigation into the actions of the FLDS proceeds. - Reply to this comment

- Roy Bean justice in Texas. The state of Texas, and media needed to start with one abused child. It also helps to have some evidence that the children were in any immediate danger. Think of it this way. A crazy nut calls into the police and tells them you have been abusing your children. The police show up to your home and take all your children to foster homes. Now your sitting in court asking for your children to be returned. You have every media show in the nation calling you a bad parent, hinting that abuse is a big problem in your family. Even reporting your daughters are underage and having *** with old men.
How many children will TEXAS lose in their foster programs? - Reply to this comment

Ok, wait a minute. If the marriages are LICENSED in Texas, then did not texas give the OK? And if the marriages were not licensed, then they are not considered a marriage under law, and therefore not prosecutable as Polygamy. What would be the difference between a non-legal marriage and an affair?

When children are involved or lives are at stake, most local governments give great leeway in what allows the police to intervene.
Make no mistake though, religion has nothing to do with it here. This "church" is just a SCAM, a bunch of disgusting old men trying to sexually abuse as many women and children as they can. - Reply to this comment
- Hey, you Nancy Grace lovers. I am curious to see how she twists things tonite.
She is pathetic. She will say to a victim "I am so sorry about the loss of your loved one" (Big puppy dog eyes). Next she asks, "Now can you tell me was the head laying under the body or beside it, and was there still blood oozing from the stab wounds?"

Yeah right why would they need a little more than just a phone call. How would you like to be hauled off to jail with no questions asked because someone with a beef called the cops and told them that you are a drug dealer? They should have gave up and investigated further when they could not find the accuser who said that she was abused. That was the premise going in. - Reply to this comment

sounds like your tiny little "head" is already pretty familiar with pig. so you''re a farmer then. sweet. for you--not for the goats you have laced up in your boots. have fun sweetie ;^)
nothing i say could ever make YOUR life any worse than it already is in your tiny little compound. try finding a day job. or collecting bottles and cans. must have lots of those lying around you. - Reply to this comment
- Finally ... some sanity and reason ... this seizure of the children was an incredible abuse of due process, guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution. Anyone who has violated the law should be charged, of course, but the wholesale taking of the children and the disregard for parental rights and due process should be scary to all Americans.
