. Bush saying that Iraq had CONFIRMED WMDs. WHOOPSIE... falsified intelligence. Just goes to show that the people of the US are sheeple. Had the people in the US been told that Sadaam did NOT Have any confirmed WMDs instead of just accusations that they had WMDs... then what would that percentage have been? Oh yeah... bush had intelligence that directly contradicted his WMD "fact" and didn''''t tell anyone about it before going to war. Interesting... interesting.

December 16, 1998

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- From the Oval Office, President Clinton told the nation Wednesday evening why he ordered new military strikes against Iraq.

"Saddam (Hussein) must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons," Clinton said...

The Iraqi leader was given a final warning six weeks ago, Clinton said, when Baghdad promised to cooperate with U.N. inspectors at the last minute just as U.S. warplanes were headed its way.

"Along with Prime Minister (Tony) Blair of Great Britain, I made it equally clear that if Saddam failed to cooperate fully we would be prepared to act without delay, diplomacy or warning," Clinton said.

The president said the report handed in Tuesday by Richard Butler, head of the United Nations Special Commission in charge of finding and destroying Iraqi weapons, was stark and sobering...

Hey, randal! Here''s an even bigger toll blubbering over little teddy:

Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd, the longest-serving member of the Senate, wept as he prayed for "my dear, dear friend, dear friend, Ted Kennedy" during a speech on the Senate floor.

"Keep Ted here for us and for America," said the 90-year-old Byrd, who is in a wheelchair. He added: "Ted, Ted, my dear friend, I love you and I miss you."

please! would someone arrest both of those old pervs? although i suppose they might be secretly-wedded spouses in massachusetts. my apologies and congrats if that is the case.

Uh, that threshold was crossed with the "election" of Dubya. I can beat that - name one possitive thing that has happened under Bush''''s watch, either as Governor of Texas of President. Resist any smart-azz response, please and provide details.

Your name calling and question are " smart-azz " in them self. That you drink the koo-aid from moveon.org does not make you any special authority.

The economy, Iraq and other woes were well started during the Clinton regime. PBS did a story on in June 30, 1999

As with other haters you are willing to pervert history to have President Bush as your scapegoat.

PBS, June 30, 1999

"Reacting too late?

ALLAN MELTZER, Carnegie Mellon University: Well, in fact, he''s (the Fed and Allan Greenspan) way behind the curve. He''s much too late, and he did much too little - they -- we should say -- did much too little...The best thing that we can do for workers and job seekers is to keep the economy from getting overheated and having too much demand growth. And we''re in the danger of having too much demand growth now. And it''s important to slow it down and to do it more quickly than the Federal Reserve seems of a mind to do."

--------

SO WE KNEW THE ECONOMY WAS OVERHEATED AND IN TROUBLE ON June 30, 1999.

Hate on and keep drinking the Kool-aid nokoolaid

That "...threshold was crossed" BEFORE June 30, 1999 during Bill Clinton watch.

They cooked the books and did too little too late.

are you really this ignorant? Think about it. A Kennedy is responsible for your daughter''s death. The Kennedys were a very powerful and wealthly bunch back when Kopechne died. It would be like a little mouse going up against a dinasaur. I''m sure the Kennedys ''appeased'' Mary Jo''s family and made sure, at any cost, that they were ''happy''. FOOTNOTE: The Kennedy cousin that is serving time in prison for killing Martha (his 14 yr old neighbor) was free for many years before they finally nabbed him - and he was a nephew of Ethel''s, not Kennedy blood.

W. went after blood when THE WHOLE COUNTRY wanted him to after 9/11. That''''s more than your wussy change candidate would do.

Oh yeah... btw... how exactly is that "out for blood" strategy working? Is he still going after OBL? or is he still "not concerned" with OBL still? You know... after he disbanded the group actually searching for him.

Uh... I didn''t want him to go after IRAQ since they had nothing to do with 09/11. I think i''m part of the country too as i''m a citizen. So, does that mean that NOT the whole country wanted him to go after Iraq as vengeance for 09/11? OH yeah, i seem to remember even Barak saying NO to war too at the time. So that''s 2 of us... any more out there? I guess you can say that NOT the whole country was out for blood in Iraq after 09/11. Come on, 09/11 was used by the bush admin to go into Iraq even tho'' Iraq had absolutely zilcharoo to do with 09/11.

SgtRET@RD IS an imposter. His screen name is only an implication though, because you can tell by his fruity comments, that he is a socialist flimp. Porbably writing all his cr@p here being paid by the taxpayers for a bogus disability claim.

Posted by globlwarning at 11:04 AM

So you have proof of that , do you? Someone disagrees with you and you automatically call into question their military service. Bet the back of your gas-swilling SUV is platered with ''Support the Troops'' stickers, though. Hmmmm...

The media likes to distort something. His brother died when he fought for US in the World War II as a pilot; here media just says that guy dies for plane crash.

While a simple car accident is enlarged into a "crime". If so, why there is not complaints from the victims'' relatives?

Some people killd two Kennedys, why there is no people want to get the truth?

Everytime you blame Bush for all the ills of this country it shows you ARE full of hate and have to find a scapegoat.

Half of what you blame Bush for you need to also blame Ted and Clinton and Hillary for too.

So you are the pot calling the kettle black.

CNN, 08/09/2002 column.novak/

WASHINGTON%u2014The Commerce Department''s painful report last week that the national economy is worse than anticipated obscured the document''s startling revelation. Hidden in the morass of statistics, there is proof that the Clinton administration grossly overestimated the strength of the economy leading up to the 2000 election. Did the federal government join Enron and WorldCom in cooking the books?

All I pray for now is that he dies in comfort. And soon. VERY SOON.

My heart is with Mary Jo Kopechne. Love and continued peace in Heaven for her this day.
