The only good he has done is for you loons on the left who want to be everything to everybody. To feel good about yourselves, you''''d sell this country down the river.

Posted by Winstrv,

Really? Do you care to compare the amount of money Kennedy has borrowed for the U.S. with the amounts Bush has borrowed?

I often wondered how low the far right could go and after reading some of the comments on here I think I see. I don''t think even the likes of Karl Rove or *** Chaney would make some of the posts I''ve read on this thread. Like him or not Ted Kennedy is a human being and I think deserves a lot more respect than some of you are giving him. I can''t believe some the so called Christian right who supposed to practice family morals would even says some of the things I''ve read here. Makes me glad I lean to neither the left nor right. Some of you are no better than Rev. Wright and I bet you even complained about him.

Yes, a lot of comments about the Ted Kennedy situation are very mean spirited, but I think a good deal of it is payback for 7 years of Bush-bashing, which may be payback for 8 years of Clinton-bashing, and so on and so forth. If you find the jokes about Ted too mean, blame Karma for the mean jokes you told about Bush/Cheney.

You reap what you sow.

I would think that Ted would like in-state in the Capitol Rotunda... better than your average funeral home.

The brain dead neo-cons on here put this in the context of liberalism as a disease, as if Kennedy and other like minded persons are somehow detrimental to our society.

For more than three decades, Kennedy has forged relationships with the most conservative members of the other party, Orin Hatch of Utah, for one. They have been close friends for a very long time, and together they get things done when nobody else in the legislative branch can.

Kennedy is the most studious, knowledgeable, hard working lawmakers ever, dedicated to his service. Those who denigrate him as a man, a public servant, a family man, a citizen, need to look in the mirror and ask, "what have I accomplished for my country??"

One of the great icons of public life is probably going to die a difficult death prematurely, and you idiots take cheap shots at him??

You conservatives give christians, americans, America itself a bad name. The world hates us because of your kind. So, libH8er, bobmarisol and singinrick whatever your latest reincarnation is, I sincerely hope that you realise the damage the your kind has done to this once Great Country with your sick, spiteful drivel. On this occasion Ireally thought you might prove yourselves to be human beings, but I guess I was wrong. You make me sick.

It''s Comments like:

"this is the time when liberal ted becomes the conservative religious ted.." and "its time for ted to contemplate his past actions and his past intentions..his appointment with GOD had been scheduled.." posted by libsluv2spit that make me so proud of religious conservatives. They are just so kind and forgiving. Just like the Bible says. And I''m sure libsluv2spit will expect the same in his/her last days on this earth.

Where have YOU been? That sad accident has received criticism and attention for 38 years! Definitely nothing "hidden" about it!

I can only conclude we have a lot folks without any sin out there... sickening how folks LOVE to pass judgement with no thought to their own transgressions. I hope you are judged as you judge others. Seems only fair.

Ted Kennedy could have stayed home and lived a life of leisure had he so chosen. But instead he chose to be a stateman and represent UNGRATEFUL BRATS like you people!

Hope all your ungrateful families and yourself enjoy the benefits by his protection of social security, and fighting for yours and your children''s right to medical care! And the raise in the minimum wage that our statemen had to literally fight to get for low wage earners!

Kiss your ungrateful behinds hello every morning! And be thankful for what you''ve got instead of what you don''t have! And then get off your arse and earn what you want!

It is very sad that someone has to live the rest of their life with the knowledge that they will not make it much longer. Regardless of your political beliefs, many of the comments posted are rude. Does that make you a better person than you feel that he is? My thoughts are with Mr. Kennedy and his family.

What an apt display of compassionate conservatism. No wonder the world hates us.

Can you imagine if it were a Republican that had driven off a road and killed a girl and left the scene of the accident without calling police? The media would be all over it. It certainly wouldnt be hidden at the end of a long article.
