It is time for him to retire and let some new blood in the Senate. I also feel that it is time to put term limits on all senators and congressman. We need new ideas and opinions. Also, as soon as their time is up, their health insurance, that we pay for, is also up.

Kennedy should have been replaced years ago by his DEM. State party. I can''t think of anything he has been good for the USA Senate, only wasteful projects.

Odd how this seizure is stumping all the big name doctors. The above article mentions all the things that might have caused his seizure...but they left out a "biggie"....a history of alcohol abuse.

"I tried to save Mary Jo Kopechne that awful night, by diving into Poucha Pond to free her from the car. The problem is that I am so naturally buoyant, I couldn''t get deep enough."

Instead of being in prison, where he belongs, Ted Kennedy sits in the United States Senate, 38 years later. Showing not one ounce of shame, he has sat in judgement of people like Robert Bork, John Tower, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. Today, he has the nerve to sit in judgement not only over the United States military but how the rest of the world thinks of us.

Ted Kennedy, an alcoholic womanizer who got away with murder 38 years ago, is the last person who should sit in judgement of anyone.

Thirty eight years ago, on the night of July 18, 1969, Kennedy left a party at Chappaquiddick, Martha''s Vineyard, Massachusetts, with Mary Jo Kopechne, a worker on RFK''s Presidential Campaign. He left the party despite having consumed several alcoholic drinks that day. As Kennedy''s 1967 Oldsmobile crossed a low wooden bridge, he made a wrong turn and drove the car with him and Ms. Kopechne into Poucha Pond. Kennedy freed himself, but left Kopechne behind. After going back to the party to try and get help, Kennedy swam the channel back to his hotel and did not report the incident to police. The car, and Ms. Kopechne''s body, were recovered the next morning.

yes, folks, this is where randal goes into his catatonic state, smarting from a good @$$ kicking that he can''t acknowledge without falling to pieces. you have obviously hit a big fat nerve. we''re all smiling at you, randal.

wha, wha, wha!

and you laugh at the silly bible thumpers and THEIR myths? you have been locked away in your little room without meaningful human contact for WAY too long. please get a job, randal. even if it''s just collecting cans or something--anything that will get you out of your tiny little troll''s hatch and out into the sunlight. maybe it will expand your silly little mind just a little bit.

love ya, randal. ha ha ha ;^)

THE OBJECTIVE, UNDENIABLE FACTS OF CHAPPAQUIDDICK:

The car went into the water around midnight. Kennedy said it was around 10 pm, which only makes it worse for him.

NOBODY called the police until after daybreak the next morning, when a passerby spotted the car in the water and called it in.

KENNEDY FAILED UTTERLY to exercise the most basic form of human decency - REPORT A DEATH TO THE POLICE.

He made a blubbery televised confession in which he ADMITTED TO BEING UNFIT FOR OFFICE, but rather than announcing his resignation, HE LEFT IT UP TO THE VOTERS, knowing he could buy all the votes he needs.

AND HE''S STILL AT IT TO THIS DAY. AND HE CONTINUES TO BE ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL MEMBERS OF THE U.S. SENATE.

HE''S HAD 35 YEARS to recover from his "shock" and recognize his own unfitness for office. Yet HE HASN''T RESIGNED.

BigTroll the unteachable spewed
It''''s far far far past the time to move on.

You''re right. Kennedy should have MOVED ON out of office ABOUT 35 YEARS AGO.

Look on the internet for the text of his blubbery televised confession. He said himself that the public deserves leaders they can trust.

The objective fact is, Kennedy buckled under pressure that night. The public needs to know their leaders can hold up under pressure. Kennedy failed.

HE IS UNFIT FOR OFFICE. He should have resigned.

I see one thing I agree with sarge on is the old catoons. Didn''''t let the kids watch much TV, but rather brought home some Foghorn Leghorn videos for them. We still enjoy watchin'''' him sneak up on the dog with his cannasticator sticking out of the doghouse and giving him a nice healthy paddlin'''' and then running away to teather length,....plus one inch. When and if they see a cartoon nowadays they complain like me about how lame they are.

I agree, the classics are the best. I don''t think there were any good cartoons made after say 1960 or so. most of the ones one shows like the Bugs Bunny Show on Saturday mornings were once that had been originally produced in the 40''s and 50''s. Personally I think it was the writting that was so good.
