Bystanders Tackle Man With Semiautomatic Rifle Who Attacked Church In Granada Hills
- When are those stupid Church Festival goers gonna realize that they need to "pack some heat" to thoroughly enjoy a picnic? No, a better question is when are we going to become as civilized a the countries that have some "reasonable restrictions" on the ownership of War Weapons? It is time for rational people witin the "recreational gun use" community to create a plan that keeps the guns out of the hands of psychopaths. It is simple stupid to have the present type of access to guns, that allows anybody who has lost their mind a chance of destroying innocent lives! Please wake up and develop a plan that hunters could accept and would protect the general public by disarming drug gangs, everyday students in school and war victims like this guy, his brother and, even more importantly the police who had to go into "harms way" to deal with this crisis!

- Just FYI, Allah is a contraction of al (the) and ilah (God), meaning The God. It''''s the very same God that Christians and Jews worship. There are just some differences in the details of how they all go about worshiping that one God.

Another lie. Christians worship the LORD JESUS CHRIST and believe in Him to be the Lord of all. NOT "allah".
Allah is an idol, representing the Crescent moon god of Mecca. It is a false idol, a false god.
Christians worship the Lord Jesus Christ! Muslims DO NOT.
Your propaganda will NEVER, I repeat NEVER fly. You won''t find ANY Muslim who admits to worshipping the same God as Christians, and if they are saying they do, they are lying through the Skin of their teeth. Of course their Quran gives them permission to do so(lie) so it''s not surprising. - Reply to this comment
- To IDNNSG: Sorry, I nailed your *** cat. I thought it was a terrorist and I was sure it had WMDs with it. You can keep the pelt though. Since you are obviously a Christian, have faith, maybe it will rise again in three days.

- BTW, While we''re on the subject of all the "fun" to be had with guns, let me just say that I HATE all you M/F-ing "law abiding gun owners" (every single one, a criminal-in-waiting)! One of your degenerate ilk shot my cat tonight just outside my house. Another little hitler on the rise!
Fortunately, God is already on the case ("as ye sow, so shall ye reap"), so I don''t have to do anything about it personally. If it were up to me, though, I''d find the b@st@rd and beat him to a pulp with the barrel of his 22. I''m opposed to killing, but a little roughing up is definitely called for! Fortunately, it will happen without any help from me. - Reply to this comment
- Prelgovisk seems to think that the Islamophobe, Robert Spencer, has something useful to say about Islam. However, various sources (paraphrasing Wiki) "assert that Spencer''s scholarship and interpretations of Islam are fundamentally flawed - that he supports preconceived notions through selection bias - that he lacks genuine understanding and; that ''he has no academic training in Islamic studies whatsoever; his M.A. degree was in the field of early Christianity''. Critics have objected to Spencer''s method of taking a position they deem to be radical (on apostasy, women, etc.) and then attributing that position to all of Islam."
In other words, he''s a PHONY and a FRAUD who''s sole goal is to spread hatred and fear of another religion.
BTW, when you (Prelgovisk) said, "Wrong info but politically correct", were you referring to something I said (just before you posted)? If so, you are dead wrong! Muslims worship the SAME God that the Christians and Jews worship. Their prophet, Mohammed, makes that point extremely explicitly in their holy book. - Reply to this comment
- Wrong info but politically correct. If you want the politically incorrect, but truthful info, read The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (And the Crusades) by best-selling author Robert Spencer

- Why Christians, why not the real bad guys - White House Officials or RED NECK corrupt LA police officers. Can''t be organized terror plot! Nothing organized in this incident. Government is probably going to host this as a terror attack.

- Insurgents? Blackwater killed 17 CIVILIANS (mostly women, and one of those was pregnant!) in Iraq just a while back. Those were "insurgents"??? Give me a break, you fool. They were just poor "innocents" that just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (the same might accurately be said of the Blackwater mercenaries themselves, if you have any sense of morality at all).
Bush, Cheney, Rummy and McSame certainly have not shown that they''re capable of telling the difference between "insurgents" and "innocents" either -- nor do any of them actually seem to give a ***.
If you don''t like shootings at church outings maybe the people you should direct the blame at should be the NRA and their staunch Republican supporters, like McSame, who just addressed the NRA (and encouraged them) a few days ago at a campaign stop? - Reply to this comment

Bad idea! We NEED that gene pool! Without it there would be no Blackwater mercenaries, nor any wars in Iraq or Afghanistan or anyplace else, for that matter.
Those genes are absolutely precious to the republicans/conservatives to advance their global political agenda, fill the ranks of our paramilitary domestic police forces and keep guns sales up!

Oldtimer, it seems that you see no differnce between someone shooting innocents at a church outing and a Blackwater employee killing an "insurgent" (or whatever the current word for bad guy is) in Iraq or Afghanistan.
That is a shame.
What would be an even greater shame is to elect a president that cannont see differences between those groups. - Reply to this comment

- What an awful story. Thank goodness for the eneptness of the criminal element. Any decent shot with a rifle ought to be much more effective than this loser. Hopefully, all victims will make full recoveries.
