Q: What do you call a ship with Ted Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Harry Reid, Michael Moore, George Soros, Nancy Pelosi, and Hillary Clinton at the bottom of the sea?
A: A good start

Bob,
Unemployment is a 5.1%. What hard times? If they lost a job, they can find another. If they became disabled, well, that is what disability insurance is for. If they they bought a home a while back and paid little for it and then decided to REFINANCE taking out a larger loan to take that equity to buy a car and big screen TVs, well I can''t help that...and that is MAJORITY of the hardworking people who are in trouble.

God forbid the dems take the Executive branch and the unemployment rate goes to 5.6% ( the historical average since WWII, also called NORMAL) then will you say that things are great?

I wrote my senators two weeks ago and have not had a single reply. I told themnm the American people are tired of waiting for change. If i do not see change in november i will be looking for all new blood to vote for. I am going to make up a list of who is in office now , take it to the polls and vote for whoever is running against our current elected officials. They couldn''t do any worse than what we already have.

I cannot blame people who have worked hard and now fall on hard imes for losing their homes. I am living overseas now but will be returning to the states in Septemner. I have a good retirement so can live comfortably about anywhere i want. But i am patriotic and i care about my country and the people who are suffering because the rich have made this situation. I do not believe most people losing their homes are speculators. They own one home and most have had them for years.

Ranger,
Again, most of those people losing their homes are called %u201Cspeculators%u201D or persons who made %u201Cbad decisions%u201D which is also called %u201Cfree will%u201D.
As far as food, yes I feel it in the belt. Unfortunately the farmers are making too much money growing corn for biofuel so they are cutting back on other crops. Seriously, look that up too. And who is pushing that agenda?

well, it took god a while to make his way down the list to teddy, but the timing was pretty cool--just when they approve g@y marriage in another state, like in mass.

i''m certain that veggie-ted-ble kennedy will do a much better job in the senate now that he has lost total brain function. typical kennedy!

That is why i pride myself in being nonpartisan. When i see someone say they are going to vote party no matter what i can only thik, what jhappened to their brain ? Can the not think for themselves. We should all vote for the candidate who we think will do the best job of representing the people and serving our country. I don''t thik that has happened since they wrote the constitution.

[Please list sources. I will read them and come up with my own conclusion. Although, I am betting your source is coming from Howard Dean emails from the DNC. I get those too.]

you''re an ignorant fool. let me know what other points i''ve made you need a source for.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Party_(United_States)

i suppose you''ll have a ''factual'' problem w/ wikipedia.

if so, google ''republican controlled congress'' ... or ''denial''

Ranger,

I totally agree. I am not saying by any means that Reps are better than Dems. There is bad blood on both side. To that I cheers you.

Just another example of a politician who shouldn''t be in office due to self servig interests. Why do our elected leaders have to be rich to hold office. hey are supposed to be of the people and for the people, not above the people.

I want to wish Mr. Kennedy the best of luck. I''m so glad he didn''t suffered a stroke.
Thank you for all the work you''ve done on behalf of the American people, sir.

Bob,
Just because one majority controls congress does not mean they can pass a bill. The republicans tried to pass the drilling bill before Clinton left office and he VETOED it. Although Bush did have a majority control in his tenure, there were still too many Dems in the house to (not) get it to his desk so he could sign it.
Interesting response, though, Bob. Are you in favor of the USA drilling our own oil?

Let this be an example-- UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE should be mandated from the top down. Many don''t have the luxury of scereening that Ted Kennedy so rightly did receive.

If someone tells you he will create a stiuation where the ...prices for insurance are good...
he probably has a a hospital administrator for a wife...(Obama).

Likewise, it is easy for the wealthy to back someone who is not really for covering everyone.

Hillary Clinton is the one.

Michigan and Florida are more important than Deans ideas of fairness.

ranger1948,
You are too fun to chat with. Ted Kennedy own oil companies too. Loot it up. He owns Arctic Oil, Kenoil, and Mokeen Oil. Look it up.
