I remember the recent threads on the Jesus Humpers down in Texas cramming their sausages into 12-year-old girls and not one "Christ-centered" person came on the threads to condemn those perverts. Dead Silence.

Yet here they are screeching about the evils of Gay Marriage.

What a hoot the Rapture Bumpkins are...its OK to drill for oil in a 12-year-old on a Texas Compound but loving Gay Marriages are out....

Corey2444, for you it is about bitterness and power. For me it is about love and equality.

Fwiw, I''ll take love and equality over bitterness and power any day. Ymmv.

I believe the "same sexes" should be able to have all the rights as married people but they should call it a "civil union".

My opposition is only in the "name".

Marriage = man & woman

Civil Union = man & man or woman & woman.

Congratulations to all the wonderful gay couples! And congratulations to the CA Supreme Court for recoginizing that anything less than full equality is unjust. It''s a great step forward for everyone, whether they realize it or not.

these people should be ashamed of themselves - everyone of them that spoke on the news this morning not one of them spoke of God someone said thanks to the Goddesses not God - because they know that going with the same *** is a sin (a adbomination under God''s eyesight)they know they will go straight to Hell with no chance under the sun to see heaven. These people knows that if they read their Bible that this is why God destroyed the earth the first time and sent the Great Flood and he said the next time that he will destroy it by a Great Fire. I guess these people is ready to destroy us and fulfill Revelation.

Huh? Try the word vituperation in the dicionary, you will find the definition accompanied by a photo of a neocon, right winger, or a religious extremist suffering from the arrogance of the saved.

===The issue of homosexual marriage will not only insure the defeat of Obama, but it will return the US Senate to Republican control. It may even return the House to Republican control. What friends the Republican Party has on the California Supreme Court!===

Sorry, but only hard-core neocons (who would never vote Democrat anyways) care about this. This won''''t affect c r a p in November.

This will have an effect in November because the America people are tired of Liberals Anger, Hate and making up their minds for them. Democrats have said for years that the American People are too stupid to decide important issues on their own. Thats why the Democrats must own the Congress and Supreme Court. This story says that people voted for the ban and Liberal Courts overturned the BAN. The Liberal Democrats know what America needs, not stupid Aericans. This is the "New Change for America" That Democrats are promising us.

Whatever slim chance the Democratic Party may have had to retake the White House, it has just gone down the drain. What friends the Republican Party has on the California Supreme Court!

===Go ahead Type Larry Craig on CBS search then type Bernie Ward on CBS search....See??? You democrats think Pelosi, Reed, Kennedy and minions can do no wrong.===
Posted by corey2444

Nice try, but Bernie Ward is just a talk show host. Craig is a United States Senator. Who do you think is going to get more attention?

As usual, another neocon so desperate to excuse the bad behavior of their politicians that you have to make up the idea of the so-called "liberal media" - a media by the way that has donated millions of dollars to Bush and the Republicans.

...In truth, no law that places any group in a position of disadvantage is anything but a threat to all of society. Those who fear sharing the privileges of citizenship with all of society do not understand that they are handing control of their rights to whoever shouts loudest, longest with an emotional bludgeon.

Very well said. I find it astonishing that any group dares to dictate who another individual can love.

Once again, we have talking heads bemoaning the failure of the courts to honor the will of the people, noting that 61% of California voters have voted in favor of marriage being legally defined as a union between a man and a woman.

As usual, these pundits fail to understand that we are a constitutional republic specifically to avoid the tyranny of the mob. Laws are tested against the civil constitution to determine if they denigh minorities the rights freely exercised by the majority, and to strike down those that fail to pass this test.

In truth, no law that places any group in a position of disadvantage is anything but a threat to all of society. Those who fear sharing the privileges of citizenship with all of society do not understand that they are handing control of their rights to whoever shouts loudest, longest with an emotional bludgeon.

You gotta love all these ultra religious whacked-out right-wingers who are getting their moral panties in a wad over this, while our hetero divorce rate has been over 50% for the last 3 decades and there are more single parents than any other time in our history.

Plus, if all these "so called Christians" really followed what Jesus said...they''d know that he didn''t approve of divorce, and went so far as to say that anyone who gets a divorce and remarries is considered an adulterer in the eyes of God.

All these radical homosexual activists are wasting their time.
There are 26 states in the Union who got an amendment passed ,reserving the marriage act to what''s been for the last 2 millenias-a sacred contract between a man and a woman endorsed by the state.(Any state without subjects makes no sense).
There are at least 36 millions inhabitants in California and maybe 90.000 hard core homosexual activists in San Francisco.Using math and common sense we already know what will happen come November.
After this modern day Pompei will slide into the Pacific ocean courtesy of the next quake, historians will put the current events under "anomalous".
