Not sure which site you mean, I mentioned more than one. If you mean the extensive wikipedia.org article on bestiality or zoophilia (both terms direct to the same article) its pretty self explanatory with extensive references, studies done, and links. Theres a BIG difference between the two terms even though both involve animals, as different as s3x and rape are from each other- even if you might lump the two together.

For capoppy59; A little social history: marriage was invented, as a social institution, by the church. The umbrella of formal marriage is a product of the feudal ages in Europe, and was a sanction offered exclusively to propertied nobility. This allowed the church to exercise some signifigant control over that property, extract offerings and tythes, as well as grabbing real estate for itself. A serf would not have enjoyed the sanction of marriage, since there was no profit in it for the church. It is a fact that if one is not descended totally of nobility, that beyond the last one and a half to two and a half centuries, largely, it is unlikely that our forbearers enjoyed that estate.

My personal opinion is, that given the state of straight marriage in this society, any extension of marriage between two comitted sentient individuals is to be welcomed. We all need examples of commited loving relationships, reguardless of the gender details.

I am ashamed of my home state for bending to the will of a deviant minority. Homosexuality in any form is not normal it is not what nature intended and we should not be further encouraging it with laws allowing two people of the same *** to marry each other. That is not why marriage was created from a legal standpoint. It was created to legitmize and protect children. Two people of the same *** cannot produce a child together on their own without third party assistance. So there is no reason for them to marry.
