This is the progressive liberalism being pushed by the LIBS. An America with no borders and no heroes.

Another simple minded statement from a bush supporter, ALL of whom are simpletons.

McCain''s older son has already completed a deployment and the second is scheduled for deployment. Why must LIBS minimize the contributions of brave servicemen whether the son of the next president or not.

Bush gave away his daughter after 8 years of giving away America. "Don''t worry honey, unlike most, you will never have to worry about going hungry. Now, when can we expect the arrival of some new little Republicans?"
Dic k Cheaney gave the new couple free gasoline for the rest of their lives.

Wrong again mbcsmith, the next President cannot send a son to war, because he only has daughters!

Maybe we should have one non-posthumous medal, the Purple Heart and it should be given to soldiers, cops, firemen, EMTs, park rangers and any injured in the line of duty.

Regards,

McCain''''s son''''s are not in Bagdad. They MAY be deployed to IRAQ this fall. One is a marine, the other is a midshipman.

Sorry neocon, had to bring up those pesky FACTS again.

I am glad she got married, but she looks too much like her dad, the best gift he could give her is a trip to a hollywood plastic surgeon and a new face. Imagine waking up every morning and her husband seeing that face that is almost a clone of pimp papa bush? UGHHHHHH, I would probably projectile vomit all over her face if it were me.

It would have been nice if Bush spent a little money with the local florist, baker etc. You know, to stimulate the local economy.

Your right there ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THESE WEBSITES WHO LIKE TO SPEW HATRED AND OFFER NO SOLUTIONS. I do not support the war in Iraq but i am always behind our troops 100%. I met most of my daughters platoon before they deployed and i am proud of all of them. My daughter was involved in firefights while in Iraq and she stood her ground. She is also a great soldier.

I am sorry if i sounded like i took offense. Maybe i didn''t word my statement quite right. It sounds like we both have children and pasts to be proud of. I keep trying to look for solutions on here that will help the problems bush has created. We seem to have the same dilemma we had 4 years ago, choosing from the lesser evils. We are in a bad way now and need a president who can lead this country back to being a great nation. I think it is time we stopped trying to be the world police. I also think we should stop foreign aid. We are so deeply in debt we cannot afford to give awayw trillions of dollars anymore. I do not think obama is the one to lead us, i feel he will only divide the nation further and i really believ he will sell us out to the terrorists as well as being racist. I think McCain cannot wait to step into bushes shoes and continue the war so he can also get filthy rich. I wanted Ron Paul but no one took him serious. Looking at Bill Clinton''s record he left office with a great economy and i think Hillary was responsible for a lot of it.

Why would you take offense to my post if you have accomplished all you say? If so, then my post is not intended for you. There are a lot of crazy, nutty people on this posts....people wishing death and ill will and even a "pox" on the descendents of Bush''s family and daughter. That''s sick! Politics is one thing, evil, nasty hatred is another. By the way, I am very potically active and have raised four sucessful sons. Two who have served in the military and one currently serving for the last ten years. He''s a door gunner on a Blackhawk...USAF Search and Rescue...decorated for bravery. Thank you for your service to our country and those of your sons.

I never saw a politician, their kids, or a news correspondent in combat. I was walking in the parking lot of VA hospital one day and saw a vehicle park. He had the plates of a medal of honor winner on his truck. I had the deepest feeling of pride just to be near someone who has won our greatest honor.

What is your reason for wanting to pull the citations for heroism ? Those of us who have served in combat have less respect for those that have not. We are the ones who really put it on the line. I have seen many soldiers with a chect full of ribbons obtained behind a desk, but to receive a medal in combat is special, something these garet troopers know nothing about.

You proposed a four program for those who serve in combat. What about someone that wants to be a doctor or lawyer, this requires more than 4 years of college. How about an incentive plan for those who hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or maybe something else to help them finish school. Do you know to take a bar exam they charge you $6,000 just to take the test ?

And what part of your advice are you doing. I worked from the age of 11, am now medically retired. I raised 4 children who are all successful in their careers. I retired from military and law enforcement after working 44 years. I graduated college have a daughter who graduated college with honorws, have a daughter who just returned from Iraq and is taking online college courses to save time, have a son getting ready to enlist in army rangers, have a son who is 100% disabled because he was hurt on active duty with the rangers, however he graduated second in his class from law school. I am behind my candidate, i wrote to my senators last week to no avail.

There are some sick, nasty, mean people on this site. Can''t you ever give your anti-Bush rants a rest? I''d bet my last dollar that the majority of people on here who rail against the government and spew their hate speeches are bums sucking on the government ****. The''re like the friends of the little red hen....they want to partake of all the goodies but they don''t want to do anything but sit on their lazy behinds and complain. Why don''t you start being part of the solution instead of part of the problem? If you so hate the current government...then why don''t you get behind the candidate of your choice...volunteer to make calls, posts signs, etc. No, you won''t do that...because all your capable of is writing your stupid, silly armchair commentaries.

First he has to be groomed for the position and fill th political squares to qualify, then he has to sit and wait till he is old enough and hope he doesn''t get killed withthe rest of the bush family. Leqaving the office of the president holding the title as being the most hated president in history doesn''t sound real reassuring to me for survival.
