We can''t go into eat a full meal without someone cracking a donut joke, throwing their hands up in mocking gesture. When we sit down (if the call load allows it)to eat we often have to get up to respond to an urgent call, quite often leaving our meal to go cold. We see infant death, children death, adult death, adults and children raped/molested, houses/businesses burglarized, cars stolen, gangs dealing drugs and misery. We have had our own go bad and the good ones have to take the heat and make excuses for their obvious bad judgement, we have seen our own ambushed, killed, die in traffic accidents, comit suicide, have disabilities. We have to enforce the laws so we can''t just be present as the citizens (except if they are the ones who get caught) expect us to write tickets and curb disorderly conduct. (cont)

Jehovahwtness, try to answer your question as a very tenured law enforcement officer. It is not that the murder is more important to everyone but to honest law abiding citizens and officers, we are the ones who have gone out for years to protect society from the thieves, rapists and murderers. We are working long hours, weekends, holidays and inclement weather doing the job most people wouldn''t or couldn''t do. The pay is quite often low (I started in 73 for $744.00/month). Think about risking your life for that and for strangers of the community. We are upfront for everyone to see. We are in uniform/badge/nameplate constantly under scrutiny for everyone to see and critique. (cont)

That was clearly an establishment hit that was obviously not aided and abetted by the local police forces. However, the case of Carnaby in Houston is at the very least a case of excessive force that was considerably worse than the one being discussed here.

Go ahead shoot up The town, get caught by some pissed off cops and get the beatin you deserve. The whole thing was probably a setup. Flip the race card and hang those law enforcement officers. I saw the tape, and all I saw was a bunch of cops trying to force 3 armed criminals to physically submit to their authority, and get the situation under control. I know a bit about cops, and I can assure you that those cops would all acted exactly the same way if the 3 suspects had been white or yellow or brown or purple. It''s the police job to stop and control the bad guys, and we need to let them do their job. 99% of you have NO IDEA how incredibly dangerous and stressful this job is, and the libs and Sharpton just need to **** and let the cops do their job.
