Are you really that stupid ? Stop and pull a gun on 6 armed police officers. I am surprised you haven''t already been shot. I do not condone any police officer breaking the law any more than a citizen but we really don''t get all the facts until the case goes to court then we can look it up online. I am a firm believer that 99% of police are honest and try to do a great job.

I once was on my way to a store but I forgot where it was so I made a u-turn where allowed, but then I remembered where the store is and made another u-turn where allowed.
Next thing I know I''m being stopped by a police officer who told me he saw me make the 2 u-turns which to him looked suspicious and asked if he could search my car.
I said no.
He then called the k-9 unit who showed up with two other police cars. So here I am surrounded by four police cars with their lights blaring and had to step out of my car while their dog went around it twice sniffing everything in sight.
Before they let me go I was told that, after all, I was doing 46 on 40 and got a $160 ticket for it.
Once these guys get a hold of you it''s the easiest thing for them to find something to charge you with.
It kinda reminds me of how the police works in third world countries where they get paid so poorly they try to scare you so you can give them money for them to let you go.
I''m sure our police officers can do better than this.

[How many times have YOU been pulled out of YOUR car by a cop during a traffic stop? Do you think the thugs/criminals/gangstas would think twice about putting a bullet between the eyes of a police officer.]

is it normal procedure for cops to swarm a car ... including stepping up, reaching into the car, and extracting the perps ... when they allegedly have weapons on them?

that doesn''t seem strange to you? why aren''t they standing back ... under cover ... instructing each one ... one by one ... to exit the car w/ their hands up facing away from them?

[One of the ''''victims'''' had black shoes that looked very much like guns; another had a lit cigarette which could easily have been a Molotov cocktail, ...... I am not cynical, I trust these investigations.]

you''re kidding, right? so now shoes and cigarettes provide justification for abusing someone ... cause they look like something else?

did you buy the decision in the sean bell case as well?

How many times have YOU been pulled out of YOUR car by a cop during a traffic stop?

"The three suspects were charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment, according to court officials."

So we''re not talking boy scouts on their way to the library to research a term paper for school.

People are more than happy to jump on the police. You try it for a rule on the streets of a city like Detroit or Philadelphia. We''ll see how perfect you are.

Do you think the thugs/criminals/gangstas would think twice about putting a bullet between the eyes of a police officer?

Mayor Michael Nutter said that "Officers are not allowed to operate outside of the law." That''s a funny one-liner. Reminds me of Myron Cohen.

We must not jump to conclusions, guys! I''m sure that an internal investigation will take a good three days to discover that the police officers in the video did nothing wrong. One of the ''victims'' had black shoes that looked very much like guns; another had a lit cigarette which could easily have been a Molotov cocktail, ...... I am not cynical, I trust these investigations. Reminds me very much of a suicide in Liverpool in the late 60s who shot himself 20 times in the back from 30 feet away, stopping only once to reload.

"the public should withhold judgment until all the facts are known" the facts is already there, the police are using excessive force.

After seeing the footage I can see why people KILL cops (pigs). The laws have to change so citizens can carry a concealed weapon anywhere in the USA. When we see 15 pigs kicking three unarmed citizens we need to draw guns and stop it.

These guys obviously got their exercise in. Looks like they were competing to see who could lose the most weight the fastest. The winner will be the man who got in the most kicks. Then he will gain it back when he is reassigned.

Any normal suspects caught on video violently assaulting someone, would not be assigned a "Desk" job till all the "Facts" were in.
After the Bush/Cheney Crime Cartel subverted the Constitution and Rule of Law with the Illegal "Patriot Act", police were given new "Rules" to act under, in which the citizenry are to be treated as potential "Terrorists" and "Enemies of the State". Give this type of authority to those with lower than average IQ''s, and it''s a recipe for disaster. Time to retrain and clean out/purge bad cops from the ranks.
Until Little George and his Corporate Fascist Nazi Police State are arrested and charged for their many and heinous crimes, incidents like this will continue to happen unabated.
Yesterdays raid of the Special Counsels Office is a good start by the FBI, and I hope they soon raid Kindasleezy and Darth''s offices, before all computer hard drives are wiped of evidence on their complicity to Torture and Conspiricy to Subvert the Law.
Criminals are running rampant in our Justice System today, from the White House all the way down to street cops. Time for some serious changes.

You give the worst people a badge and gun, those who want authority because they were bullied in school or are just bullies themselves, and expect them to have any self-control? These are little boys, the ones who were in boys only tree house clubs, then frat houses then cop shops. Same mentality, same actions. They never have to grow up because no one ever holds them responsible for those actions.

Now, lets find out why the Houston cops murdered a CIA agent as he got out of his car, handcuffed him and let him die in the street.

We can remember as well the police in Miami snickering about firing rubber bullets at a protestor hiding behind a cardboard sign...or the young woman in Boston who was murdered by a policeman as she stepped out of a restaurant...or the man in Oregon who was burned over most of his body and was sitting naked in the road...tasered...shot...murdered as he was in shock from the accident....Morons and criminals make things bad for everyone else...and they are protected by an unfortunate code of loyalty...and it is NOT, in far too many cases, loyalty to the people who employee them and to the law they are sworn to uphold.

Ever note they no longer write "public safety" on their cars?

Posted by magoo2u1 at 04:46 PM : May 07, 2008

Magoo ..... Many still use the "to protect & serve" mantra .. and it is still prominently displayed on cruisers.

You also seem to feel that all police officers are corrupt and guilty of your examples .. while there are always corrupt employees in any profession, police officers usually have to look towards leadership to quell any criminal activity as well as peer pressure from fellow officers ...

It has become a "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil world .. and seems that unless there is a big fat payday from litigation most wrongdoing goes unreported or ignored by citizens as well as other officers ...

A sad fact in our world today ...

Once the investigation is completed any officers that are guilty should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law provided and lose thier pensions and all other city benefits ...

"The police are not gang members. They should be held to a much much higher standard! "

Sometimes I''m not so sure about this statement. They conspire to lie, beat people, plant drugs, fabricate evidence, rape, embezzle money , steal drugs, sell drugs ..............
Sorry I can''t go on the list is too long. I can add that they do these things while carrying a gun and can shoot you, plant a gun under your body and drugs in your car and laugh all the way to the ATM with your card in their hand........
Cops planted pot in the basement of a 92 yr old woman they killed in Atlanta. They are remorsless killers and theives.
Ever note they no longer write "public safety" on their cars?

I understand that police are human. But when you go to work you have to suppress your human nature...otherwise you can get into a whole lot of trouble. The police are not gang members. They should be held to a much much higher standard! Their mistakes and human nature can get people killed!

apparently the rest of the story was that these officers were on thier break, playing the new grand theft auto and smoking thier medical marijuana when dispatch called and informed them that the entire last batch of dunkin doughnuts had just been purchased by the persons in that vehicle who were on thier way to an illegal doughnut party.
