This guy fesses up to making a bad decision, does not claim any special privileges, or that he was innocent, and all most of you can do is bash him. I must admit, this shouldn%u2019t be news outside of N/Y.

My response: I respectfully disagree with you that this shouldn''t be news outside of N.Y..

It SHOULD by virtue of the fact that he''s an elected public servant to the national government, AND supposedly cognizant and more responsible than the average citizen. Clearly, in his case, this is NOT true!

I belief anytime a politician is caught breaking the law, his party ought to be listed right up front in the first line with his name---regardless of party!
The citizenry has the right to know.

Remember what happened to Rep. Kennedy when he was stopped for multiple violations in the wee hours of the morning. His claim was that he had to make a vote. Drunks need to be punished regardless of party.

While DUI enforcement is extremely important and arrests are necessary, the publishing of the names of just the politicians, movie stars, sports stars is unfair. If you are going to single out, just the headliners and attempt to smear their character, you should be fair and publish a record of all people arrested for the same thing. You probably would be shocked to see how many regular, rich and influential business people "and" their wives, kids and relatives are also arrested but don''t get published for the world to see. People make mistakes and in cases where no accident or injuries occur, most get probabtion after school and fees are paid. Be fair to all people in how this is published.

Typical NAZI! With ALL the corruption and ALL the failure of the Republican Party over the last 8 years this LOSER attack''''s CBS for noting the fact that THIS criminal is a Republican? Has it EVER occured to you freaks that what you need to do is CLEAN up your PARTY and not trying to control the free press! Sieg Heil Bush

I believe he was referring to the fact that CBS will post the party affiliation of Repubs in the first sentence, however when a demo is caught, the party affiliation is either buried deep in the story or not given at all.
Dos Verdonya, Comrade!

Its good that Rep. Fossella has the support of the DC Madame''s reported customer, Richard Cheney...Will Ms. Palfrey''s other reported customers step forward to support him?--Come on Juan McWar!...bet you are going to have to sleep with one eye!

Unlike other Republicans, at least he wasn''t out toe tapping, or cheating on his wife, or dressed up like a woman as Giuliani liked to do...or trying to pick up House pages...

In this story the second word mentions the party affiliation of this smuck .... in any report that has a democrat is takes at least the third paragraph, if at all, to discover ...
