Officials Tell Lawmakers Of Possible Sexual Abuse, Broken Bones Among Polygamist Children
- Cpaide, Once again, you never answered which part of the world you live in.
Also, you made statements that case workers were fired. Nothing has been written about that, so how do you know, or did you just make it up? - Reply to this comment
- "at least 41 children have had broken bones in the past."
HOWEVER
"We do not have X-rays or complete medical information."
I suppose Department of Family and Protective Services Commissioner Carey Cockerell has X-ray vision or something. Man, what happened to the other dozen "official spokespeople" who have been handling the press for the past month? Terminated, apparently, for their incompetences. Now the Commissioner is personally trying to save his own sorry @zz. Good luck with that! - Reply to this comment

i think it is immoral, abusive and disgusting that the mormans make their kids work in the family garden. i know i report to child protective services any person i see who makes their kid mow the lawn, take out the trash or wash dishes. - Reply to this comment

- Possible nothing! One only needs to talk to the Lost Boys in Utah, boys that were kicked out of the FLDS for being a threat to older men''s access to little girls, to see that abuse did occur. Some have also accused Warren Jeffs of sexually abusing a boy. As far as I''m concerned, abuse of boys and girls is a given not a mere possibility.

- I''m not shure what they do for a living at that compound, but if it is farming, broken bones are not uncommon. An aunt of mine was chewed up by some piece of farm equipment about 80 years ago.
This is probably an indication that child labor conditions are not safe at the compound. Of course, child labor is generally agains the law, but I strongly suspect it is normal practice at the compound. - Reply to this comment

- If religion did not enjoy a kind of immunity from criticism, this cult and others would never been allowed to become so large a problem.

Ye be supprised how much goes on behind shut doors..The child/ren are told to not say a word..we were groomed to what to say/not say to a case worker. It was hell.
