This incident is reminiscent of any number of bumbling-fumbling-clown-cop movies, and would be viewed as just as funny if not for the fact that a man died. The driver (who was not Sean Bell, some of you need to get the story straight) may or may not have been trying to hit a man he thought was threatening him, not a uniformed police officer.

Go check out this man''s criminal records and see if after reading ALL OF IT that the police over reacted. the problem here is that Blacks want their rights AND other peoples as well, not all but enough are stupid enough to believe that Al Sharpton actually gives a heaping dump about their feelings. Al Sharpton and Jessi Jackson are BLACK parasites that suck off their own kind while hiding behind their GREEN god and religion. What a bunch of garbage. If you act like a thug, resist the police and make threatening moves, you''re deserving of getting shot and killed. Wise up. I am tired of the whining about police abuse and improper use of force. The cops are there to serve and protect, and that includes protecting themselves from drunken fools who think they''re tough.

Justice was served, swiftly and with sagacity. Good job.

I agree that the young man got himself killed by his own bad judgment.

And yes, he was trying to run over the officer and flee, and he hit another vehicle.

Not only was the kid drunk and driving, the kid was trying to flee to get out of it and used a deadly weapon to try to do it.

Blame the driver. Sue his insurance company!

Why not go after the drivr. He was the one who hit the policeman and was trying to excape. Her bf got in the car with him. There used to be a law saying someone involved in the commission of a crime could not win monetary damages for injuries. He fot into the car so his actions caused his own death.
