MichaelsonJ1...I just went to the web site that you give, got the phone number and called them. I wanted to know if they knew what was the truth. They were rude, told me to call Obama''s people, and when I tried to ask where I was told "I have to go" and they hung up on me. I''m so sick of all this stuff that I have decided to just forget it. I have tried to make an honest effort to find out the truth about the candidates but just keep running into rude people and blank walls. I have requested information from all the candidates and have received nothing. As far as I am concerned they can insult each other all they want but I''m done.

you are right about most cases being reported are about neglect...you are wrong about the amount of parents in the household and how many jobs they hold down. The majority of neglect cases recieved involves neglect due to drug abuse.

Most abuse cases are for neglect, children whose single parent works 2 jobs in order to pay the bills and can''t afford to properly take care of them.

Admitedly there are CPS services in this country that do not have the services for prevention in stead incident based action. But I assure you in those places that do, (I at least know about CPS where I am from) there are many different facets of CPS that come before removal to maintain family preservation. It''s easier to preserve a family than to take the children out of the home. It is more cost effective to give a family services, than place a child in foster care, hence why family preservation services are exhausted before removal EXCEPT in EXTREME situations.

Don''t worry about me. I would help my children, with no remorse for my actions on the person abusing them. Then we''d move, since we live in the country where the victim gets to be a victim again by the justice system.

The facts will show them selves, and when they do and children are shown to no longer be in danger there will be a sigh of relief.
