Lawyers For More Than 400 Children Taken In Raid Demand To Read Evidence
- Until I see a breakdown of statistics on how many of the cult women can be proved to be the mothers to the children, their age when they got pregnant, how many kids they have, blah blah blah blah

oh, yes. you sound very very intelligent indeed. yes, lets find all this information for all the little villages in texas--not just the mormans. yes, let''s invade the privacy and stomp the civil right a little more, please. you are related to hilter or bush? - Reply to this comment
- memerider - regarding your statement about the ''mind-control cult''
Exactly which religion is not a mind-control cult?
Oh, you want to play fancy on the word ''cult'', heh?
Let''s say you choose this from the many definitions:
Cult - A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.
The word ''Cult'' is just a little subjective, isn''t it? Which religion is not a ''cult'' to anyone who is not a devotee of that religion? To me, all religions are cults. But, freedom is about tolerating non-violent consentual acts.
Can you imagine tolerance in the Middle East?
Freedom - do you comprehend the meaning? - Reply to this comment
- I bet this cpaide guy is one the people from the cult and I bet he "spiritually marry" to underage girls.

- people complaint about the mexican of having too many children, these people are worse. In 4 years, they make 100kids out???? Do they realize that we have a huge problem with human population and shortage of food supply and resources! Do they have ids or birth certificates?

- I see. Here''s the problem with your argument, cpaide. If all those other marriages are spiritual-in name only- then basically you have 416 kids who were born to only a few women.
Until I see a breakdown of statistics on how many of the cult women can be proved to be the mothers to the children, their age when they got pregnant, how many kids they have, and given the flat appearance, monotone voice, and the apparent limited speaking and thinking ability of the adult women I have seen you''re a cult as far as I''m concerned. And you probably want to stop assuming that us non-cultists are not as smart as you cause you''re wrong. - Reply to this comment
- Polygamy. You might not like it, but America is not about what you like. America is about Freedom.
Freedom mandates Tolerance. - Reply to this comment
- "womeone below said these people were not abusing welfare, they need to look into this, many are they collect welare checks and get food stamps."

if texas law says they are not married but yet they have these childrens, then texas law says they are getting some food stamps and checks. so what? everyone in texas who is not married under the state law and has childrens is getting that too.
and by the way, most of the mormans moneys come from federal grants for the schools and public administration that any little village in america is entitled to under the law.
all of america is taking the government grants and welfare and foodstamps, so do not pretend that this mormans are the only ones. - Reply to this comment
- "At least 10 women were married by the age of 16, some to men as old as 56. One man had 22 wives."
yes but this is what you do not understand: this marriages are for the "spiritual marriages" and not the physical marriages as you understand them.
so when this mormans says marriage or "plurality of wives" this is for the afterlife only. there is no physical contact with this old men and this underage girls.
you will read in the doctrine and covenants the section 132 and then you will realize that the mormans "marriage" and what you think is marriage are not the same concept.
sorry, my friends, but you have misjudge this mormans, much to your eventual embarrassment.
do not judge this mormans by what you think and do not harm this peaceful humble mormans because they are thinking something different that you guys.
now if you have some clean good proof that they are having physical relations with this young girls, ok then those mormans are not following this scriptures and they need to be punish. but they are not the good mormans that you will find living in the rodeo arena like animals. who can believe this would be happen in america? - Reply to this comment
- All this BS, on the word of a 16 yo ghost ? The people of Texas throw the Constitution and The Bill of Rights out the window and are now all dizzy as they are treading new unexplored areas in The LAW like how do we proceed ,when were the ones breaking the Law ?

Yes, the studs out there with 8 x-wives are doing the same thing. It is called serial polygamy. - Reply to this comment
- As regarding the question over when the government will raid the Chicago projects and remove the children from that abusive situation: They won''t. People will line up to adopt the white children from the Texas compound. Would those same people line up to adopt black children?

- womeone below said these people were not abusing welfare, they need to look into this, many are they collect welare checks and get food stamps. As far as a clean environment, how can you say that, these girls were being raped with their mothers in the hall, several reports of this have been filed. As a survivor of abuse, I am astounded anyone would say this.

- why are they not prosecuting these supposed parents why is anyone worried about their supposed rights when they are lying publicly Evil loves shadows and they are playing in the shadows the evidence shows they are breaking the laws these girls are being abused There are other sects that live separate but do not force their girls to marry at such young ages the fact so many young girls are pregnanat yet the women they interview know of no abuse They are guilty of false statements They know they are breaking the law. The Amish live separately but wait til their children are older and allow them to choose their life. But these people want to marry them before they are old enough to decide. The boys they have thrown out so the older men do not have competition is another example of their abuse. Consenting adults is one thing, these are children. The one woman said our children love us they would not love us if we abused them, this is so untrue abused children love their parents this is a fact. The women in this sect need psychiatric care but more important they need to realize they are not above the law. They are using our system to fight us but they need to be arrested for child abuse.

- I left out a word. It should say, The State of Arizona RAIDED . . .
- Reply to this comment
- Voidmaster,
The State of Arizona the city along the Utah border back in 1955. The members of the group (cult) were traumatized then. It was still a topic of conversation amongs them back in 1975. The story has been told over and over and they are very much aware they are breaking civil laws. Their philosophy is that "God''s" laws take precedence. They have a deep abiding belief that what they are doing is the will of God. It is as deeply ingrained as Jihad is amongst Islamic terrorists. - Reply to this comment
- These people even have their own teachers. These woman may not even have a clue what their rights are under the Constitution. I''m sure these perverted men haven''t told them that under the Constitution they are free to make choices.
Of course, because they''ve never known better, they will probably think it is their duty to live under those conditions.
Good Lord, whatta mess! - Reply to this comment
- When will Illinois children''s services conduct a raid into Chicago''s housing projects and remove the children from the drugs, guns, and single mother''s who do not live with the fathers of these poor welfare children. Talk about "abuse" how many of these poor girls are forced into having children to increase their welfare checks to support their qoute man. At least the Texas children had a clean enviroment, a good roof over their heads, food on the table and no one was shooting the children on their way home from school. Of course the south side children have their grandmothers praying at the Baptist church each Sunday and they believe in marriage, but their grand daughters are coming home with babies and no father support just welfare. Guess they had better start looking over their shoulders to see when the government is going to raid those projects and take their welfare check children away to institutions. The Texas children were not living on welfare and the compound looked clean and neat without bullets flying. Does anyone see a problem with this picture and the Quakers had better start protecting their children from the next "1984"raids in the name of abuse. Those children were not forced out on the street corner selling drugs to support the single mom and her boy friend to feed their adult habits.

- alphanuclear, I get the impression you aren''t fond of people generally, and women in particular.
I''m truly sorry you experienced whatever you did to have you think that way.
But these people are pitiful--they really are part of a mind-control cult with a so-called "prophet" who choreographs their every move. Did you see that man who had his wives "reassigned" and he was banished as a "sinner?" Even the men are damaged. - Reply to this comment
- Patty Hearst served time for her part in a Stockholm Syndrome crime, so precedence suggets these individuals have to be accountable as well.

Sickeningly, that may happen. But it shouldn%u2019t. Yes, Texas may well take the attitude of, %u201CYou broke our law and you must pay.%u201D But this is already such a high-profile case with three hundred fifty lawyers already on the defense side. Very few of those women will be convicted of anything criminal and most probably won%u2019t be charged. - Reply to this comment
