The RCC is a sect just like FLDS. Where in the Bible does it say it is ok to abuse kids.
God will judge you and find you wanting.........

jack3213-

To be in jail is better because there they will get the dose of their own medicine (wink-wink). Shooting them is giving it easy on them.

Just think what will the inmates do to these priests once they found out what they did.

RepDemApart--As you did not dispute what I presented...bizarrely noting that because the victims settled, they are worse than the pedophilic priests... Whatever the victims might be, it does not change the facts that the priests were aided and abetted by the Church heirarchy.

It does not change the fact that Benny is a patron of Opus Dei...it does not change the fact that the Church has been a willing ally of the most anti-democratic and revanchist forces in the Catholic world.

As to the insinuation of sounding "bitter and sour" that''s neither here nor there.

HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND WE ALL AGREE IT IS DISGUSTING- WHAT HE SUGGESTED HE WILL DO IS ADMIRABLE, ALTHOUGH THAT REALLY IS THE EXTENT OF IT- HE CANNOT STOP THESE PERVERTS FROM THEIR BEHAVIOR- THEY WILL GO ELSEWHERE. I THINK THEY OUGHT TO BE SHOT, NOT JUST PUT IN JAIL, BUT I''M SURE THE LIBERALS THINK THAT IS MEAN. LOL.

CBS_Oliver -

i agree with what you said BUT come on. WHAT ABOUT THOSE FONDLING PRIESTS?

my sense is that, they could have gone to jail and save those they are fondling right now. BUT THESE IDIOTS SETTLED. I THINK THAT WORSE THAN THE ABUSE ITSELF. They have become an enabler of these pedophiles at some price like $2 Billion.

Looking back at the last 7 years of the Bush Administration, Republican scandals, both s.e.x. and outright corruption, outing CIA agents, illegal wiretaps, torture, the 2006 election to end the Iraq War which resulted in a surge of 30,000 additional troops!(take that voters!), over 4000 U.S. dead in Iraq, a national debt over $9 trillion, a deficit budget submitted for over $239 billion, $3.50 gas prices at the pump, 80,000 jobs lost in march, Mortgage sub prime crisis, Bank failures, multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, fighting the wrong war on terror in the wrong nation, Osama bin Laden still loose making audio and video! and on and on folks, and so how can Sen. Obama or almost anyone else be worst than this disaster performance of the Bush Administration the last 7 years and its not over yet!!

Toe tapping Republicans..........

go figure......the GOP has alot of "coming-out" to do...

The Vatican should have given the same amount of money to the victims and the priests should still have gone to prison.

Forgiveness is a beautiful concept. Trouble is, like most good things, it''s abused. People who know they can be forgiven any sin and taken into the church''s protection act as though they have a license to sin. The grace of God forgives the predator, but leaves the victim horribly scarred. A kinder God would allow these poor boys to forget the pain, the fear, the shame and the humiliation brought on them by predator priests.
