If you could post the sources you use for these statements ~ I would like to read, study and evaluate them. If you would like the sources I have used for my opinions , I would be most happy to post them, most can be found in a college or university library ~ they are not, I repeat, sources of any religious origin. I am also most interested in your term ''masonic'' and ''criminal behavior''. Please be more specific about what you mean. Not being a Mormon, I did not realize that the Mormons were big on masonic behavior, I had always believed that it was a Methodist behavior.

It was quite common in many cultures around the world, and even still is. In America it was common for young girls to marry older men. Loretta Lynn married at 13 and had her firdst child at 14. My own mother was married at 15 to a 23 yr old man. I know it was much older men, but the practice came because of dowry. A dowry is basically a bride-price. What the man was willing to pay the family for their daughter. This is still practiced in poorer and 3rd world countries.

Mormons and/or other Romney apologists continue to make the above, mostly false, claim.

It is true that most of the Mormons (in Utah) gave up polygamy long ago. However, it is also true that they did so ONLY to attain state hood, NOT because they no longer believed in polygamy.
To this day, many still cling to that belief.

These people are NOT a totally separate sect.
They are still of the faith founded by Joseph Smith.
These people, now, are simply outcasts.

How much has the wording in the Mormon book of faith actually changed since Smith wrote it?

These people are forced to build gated communities and keep their children separated from the outside world until they are indoctrinated, and to keep their Illegal activities (polygamy) as secret as possible.
They also start impregnating girls (spiritual marriage) at puberty because they are much easier to control at that age. Most of those in this group do not consider what they are doing as being illegal (in their world), and they truly believe in what they are doing

I find it interesting though, that they choose to make the first mating inside the temple/church. Hopefully the congregation and or clergymen don%u2019t witness it.

The reason Mormons originally instigated polygamy was because their numbers were becoming so depleted in Illinois from being severely persecuted. They continued the practice after they migrated to Utah to build their population. Mainstream Mormonism ceased the practice many years ago and it is illegal.
The version of Mormonism that is involved in the kind of behavior that is seen on Jeff''s compounds really has nothing to do with Mormonism or religion ~ it has to do with dirty old men who want to raise their own victims and have them at their disposal at all times. They hide behind the cloak of religion because it is so easy to attract followers.
