Murder is murder. It''s disgusting people have to resort to it.

The Bible was more or less a series of guidelines, like "Martha Stewart Living" only not so warm nor fuzzy. Doesn''t make her right all the time, or the Bible right either. It should not be taken literally, but there''s still a lot of incontrovertible truths that are unworthy of scrutiny (e.g. murder being bad!).

Besides, if the Bible was so hot to trot on interracial marriages, how come I am British, Scottish, Norwegian, Danish, and French? My dad has blue eyes and mom has brown eyes. Does the Bible say anything about not mixing eye colors too?

Your article ignores the fact that Maria Lauterbach had filed rape charges against her killer. The Marine Corp had forced her to continue to work with him and failed to protect her in any way. In effect, the Marine Corp made this murder possible. The military has a history of ignoring rape charges.

Deuteronomy 7:1-6.

The Bible says it all about interracial marriages: "Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly" (v. 3-4)."So be it to the sinner"

What say you ??

I''d say no where does it speak about race. It''s speaking of no interfaith marriages. The jews were to marry jews.

My black ghetto children do not need to live? Because I do not want to love them or nurture them I just want to have some not carin about the responsibility to have one! If they grow up and commit more crimes than white so be it. If one windes up on death row their are 49 more to take his place on the stret. We will overcome America with our lust and irresponsibility not to nurture our own. I just want to have it when I want it.

Most often domestic violence is prevalent in dating relationships and live-in situations however women believe the spouse will change which is not the case. Other pressures of relationships only aggravate the relationship and only elevate the frequency of abuse. Anyone in a abused relationship whether physical or mental should remove themselves from the relationship and seek other companionship that respects them without the abuse.

The truth about the police is that they do care about the community (or should). They are more than willing to fight the crime and risk their lives to protect citizens but need help in prosecuting cases. Domestic violence is horrible on all involved but women, in particular, need to think more of themselves and need to be able to stand up to abuse and get rid of the abuser. police do get tired of putting abusers in jail and then find out the victim dropped charges and is living back with the abuser. I''m tired of hearing about minorities not trusting the police. The gangbangers, drug dealers, criminals are helping foster that mistrust so they can keep control of the neighborhoods. The minority on minority crime has risen and is due to gang activity. The NAACP or Hispanic leaders or whoever need to put on their walking shoes and get out in the hoods and face down these gangsters themselves and provide leadership to the community to help clean up the neighborhoods along with the police. If anyone wants to find out about police, I invite you to walk in their shoes everyday and experience what is really happening in the community. I''ll even give you a uniform and gun, handcuffs but you can''t just be a nice guy, you might have to do your job and "enforce" the laws that you have sworn to uphold. Law enforcement is the line that has the guts to stand and risk their lives to save the honest people from the thugs.

Now here is some truth about Domestic violence and police action. police get the call, woman (mostly) has been beat up, police ask her if she wants to prosecute, she says yes, perp is arrested. Either that day or later, woman decides to drop charges or bonds perp out. #2 woman gets beat up, police respond, she says wants to prosecute, police go to arrest suspect peacefully, suspect resists, police have to fight suspect and maybe wife. New Domestic Violence policy(for several years)woman or man assaulted or both, police arrive, see marks of abuse, arrest one or both, both sit in jail until judge sees them, bond is 6,000/10,000 and one or either have to jump through hoops to get charges dropped. (to be continued)

Armed women who can safely and properly use their guns are MUCH harder to murder.
Only you can protect yourself.
Get educated, get trained, and let the criminals fear YOU!

To Myopinion1: You may have "couth" but you are still a racist. You can''t even post without using insulting terms. But I''ve seen that so many times on this and other sites that it''s not surprising. People like YOU are why many minorities don''t trust whites. It''s really interesting how everyone gets all worked up and blames the whole black or Latino community when anyone from one of those groups commits a crime or how people whine about blacks and minorities on welfare as if there are no whites receiving money from the gov''t. How about the sub-prime fiasco? No outrage or finger pointing at one''s race there, huh? Or that war that''s going to cost over 400 billion? No problems with color there? Or over all the jobs being exported overseas? I hate politics and politicians but I hope Obama doesn''t get elected so when America goes down the tubes all you racists can point to a member of your own color. But I know you won''t even notice his/her color. It''s only when a non-white is involved do we have this kind of vitriol being sent forth.

I believe that the reason so many women of different race are not in the headline news, and others are is because the families of many victims didn''t even know that they were missing. There is also I am sure some racist *** that should not be involved, but always is no matter how you look at it.Many that do stay in the media also is because the families that do know about their missing member keep pushing ,and calling the police, and media.Just like the saying" The squeaky wheel gets the oil".It is sad, but also true.We need to keep racism out of the country,we have some angry crazy terrorist that are trying to destroy this country, and they don''t care what color your skin is.If your an American your an open target to them.

These comments are full of so many racist idiots. Everything does not have to come down to race. African Americans, Latinos, and others are now advancing and many of you need to just get over it. Hate is not going to hold anyone of us back, so say whatever you want. We should treasure women regardless of them being white, black, yellow or yes even blue.

And if you think the woman''''s cause is greater than the racist one, then vote for Hillary Clinton. If you think the opposite, vote for Barrak Obama.

Hopefully, Huronian1, this is not really what it all boils down to for you. I do understand that there are not too many distinct differences between these two, but seriously?

Besides being the first to get this far in the primaries, what have either of them done for their respective causes (women or blackness) that merits the presidency?
