This "enraged christian" group is just a good example of crazy ranting paranoia by conservatives. Just because you kid plays dress up for a day doesn''t mean he will be gay and "burn in hell". I swear "die hard" christians just need to chill out and quit f---in protesting (or throwing a temper tantrum) everytime someone does something you don''t agree with - how about this - if you don''t like an idea - DONT PARTICIPATE IN IT, but for some reason conservatives think if they can''t enjoy something (without a guilty conscience) than no one should - hence all the angry "outraged" phone calls from parents who think this is scarring little Jimmy for life, when in reality it''s the parents overbearing protective religious conservatism that is scarring the kid for life.

This is all the liberals fault. They want to encourage kids to be confused.

LMAO. That is rich. Confused about what?? I don''t think any kid has ever been "confused" about who turns him/her on. The confusion comes from hysterics thrown by adults if they aren''t conforming to some artificial standard. THEN they get confused.

AP) An elementary-school event in which kids were encouraged to dress as members of the opposite gender drew the ire of a Christian radio group, whose angry broadcast prompted outraged calls to the district office.

Students at Pineview Elementary had been dressing in costume all last week as part of an annual school tradition called Wacky Week. On Friday, students were encouraged to dress either as senior citizens or as members of the opposite ***.

Another example of the whacked-out religious nuts screaming about nothing. I am 62 years old and we did this at our school a number of times. We had a lot of fun (and a lot of ugly girls!) This insane paranoia that people have about *** is ridiculous and pretty much insane. No one is going to "turn gay" because they wore a dress. Nutty. Nutty. Nutty.

Tracy, we know your parents confused you terribly when they gave you a girl''s name, but most kids are not anywhere near so easy to confuse. So, you can stop your worrying, young lady! :-)

"It concerns us when a school district strikes at the heart and core of the Biblical values. To promote this to elementary-school students is a great error."

Gee, is cross-dressing worse than murdering people for their oil? I have a feeling Jesus has more important things to worry about these days, but I''m only speculating. He''s so busy talking to our president that I never get a minute''s time with him anymore.
