Police Remove Children From Fundamentalist Mormon Compound After Complaint Was Made
- This is simply a bunch of pedophiles who have managed to form a "religion" in order to satisfy their sick needs. We are so brainwashed that all "religion" is good that we shy away from the real truth. The basic teachings of religion are good but unfortunately they have been twisted into whatever shape was necessary for men to achieve their ultimate goals...whatever they might be. This is indeed a sad situation but it will probably continue as it is difficult for law enforcement to obtain necessary proof of crimes. It''s pretty bad when someone gets more jail time for smoking pot than Jeffs got for raping a little girl.

- Typical of Texas! It gave us King George 1 & II. Good god fearing people? Invoke the name of god to get things done. Wars, rapes, incest, political gains, etc:

- I see that holmantx''s response to my post was to just repeat what he already said. It doesn''t matter how many times holmantx claims it''s all just some conspiracy to "get them", the facts speak for themselves.
Here''s a little bit more about these whackos. (It''s too bad they only rescued the girls because the boys are being abused also. The boys get dumped on the streets when they reach puberty so they won''t take the little girls away from the perverted old men.)
"It has been reported that the FLDS Church has recently excommunicated over 400 teenage boys, some as young as 13, for offenses such as dating and listening to rock music. Former members claim that the real reason for these excommunications is that there are not enough women for each male to receive three or more wives. Six such teenage boys have filed a conspiracy lawsuit against Warren Jeffs and Sam Barlow, a former Mohave County deputy sheriff and close associate of Jeffs, for a ''systematic excommunication'' of young men to reduce competition for wives." - Wiki - Reply to this comment

OK, I did look it up.
While the FLDS is not representative of Mormons as a whole or any particular political party (they are whackos, plain and simple), Mormons are mostly conservative Republicans and the views of the FLDS are ultra conservative. While it''s unfair to say these guys are representing "Republican values", they are still more aligned with conserative views than liberal ones. What "community" they came from is really meaningless.

- Alleged sexual abuse of a minor is what got authorities into Mt. Carmel. It was never proved. The rest is history. Spousal accusations of child sexual abuse is the no. 2 accusation in custody battles in family law courts. It is one of the three things you can accuse a man of . . . and he his de facto guilty until proven innocent. Use of "child *** abuse" as a vehicle is a COMMON vehicle for getting inside, legally. Then general "welfare" takes over. So be very careful about becoming enraged over this accusation. As in family law courts, 90% of the time it is not true. It is, however, effective.

How long should we withhold our rage? The FLDS church follows the doctrines of the "prophet", Warren Jeffs, who says polygamy with little girls is A-OK. He has already been found guilty of two counts of being an accomplice to rape and he was sentenced to ten years to life in prison. It''s not much of a stretch to believe his little cult has continued to abuse their women. - Reply to this comment

- Wake up little Mormon brains - you are indoctrinating your children who have no choice in the matter. And then most of them will end up just like you.

- There are several of these religious types of temples that have been built in remote areas of Texas that harbor children with the religious fanatics and been raided.
Why in the hell isn''t someone watching these people when children are involved? - Reply to this comment
