"I know that this child did a terrible thing, but unless you have walked in her shoes..." Posted by pollroller1

Hmmm, terrible thing? but unless you have walked in her shoes? Ahhh, this 14 year old deliberately killed the baby by trying to flush it down the toilet! This wasn''t a 4 year old that didn''t know what they were doing. She KNEW she was killing that baby. She could have taken it and dropped it anywhere where it could be helped. She could have just left it in the washroom and left so someone could find it. She CHOSE to KILL it.

I know that this child did a terrible thing, but unless you have walked in her shoes, I wouldn''t be too quick to judge her. To tell you the truth, I really feel sorry for her.

Who cares, it was just a baby.

Obviously you care enough to make such statement. Just a baby, how absurd! Human life is human life, whether that life is 2 secs old or 102 yrs old.

Teen pregnancies in the USA: 53 per 1000" Posted by fibonacci

In 2000, Canada had 38 per l000 and the U.S had 84 per l000. In 2003 there was 32.1 per l000 in Canada. They say we have been on a decline since 1994. The U.S. is supposed to be doubled what we are today.

In all honesty, I personally think that most of the people in these forums think a lot more than most people. Why would they be reading about what is happening in the world and commenting on it if they werent? I worry more about the people who just dont give a ***.

I see a few personalities on this comment stream that would produce children behaving the same way written in this news article. Dysfunctional mentoring is evidence that suggests some bad influences succeeded in clossing some minds. Convincing a person with a closed mind that they need more education and an open mind to learn, is very difficult. They are anxious, stubborn and ineffective.

I have to admit there are times where I say something here and then I look back and feel a bit guilty about it. Sometimes quite guilty. Arrogance is probably one of my worst qualities...and I admit it is relatively childish to insult people. I am just angry.

rohink, according to the people I have talked to of these different religions, only about 40% are willing to admit they might not be correct about their hypothesis. It could be more, but I think most of them wont say it because they are maybe afraid of being jinxed or something superstitious. No I am not 100% sure there is no God, however you want to define that, nor am I 100% sure that the plants outside do not dance the boogie-woogie every night when I go to bed and stop before I wake up or look at them.

The God doesn''t touch this subject b/c The God didn''t do it or allow it. Don''t speak about God or ask questions if you don''t want them answered. I use the bible b/c I know that w/o some kind of guideline I wouldn''t be a happy person. The same as a child raised in a monitored home is a happier child.

You can''t speak for all Muslims, Christians, or Jews. Therefore you can''t not say that mostly 100% are sure of their faith. I don''t think you are 100% sure that there isn''t a God.

********

I''m not asking you to worship God. I stated a fact. No regard for human life resulted in the death of an innocent child.

diallosma- I will never believe a word of ANY bible, because they were written by men, not by a god. Men use words to obtain and maintain power over others people.
The bible means less than nothing to me.
Peace anyway.
