Well oil is not going to go down because we have greedy world players, OPEC, American oil corporations and whatnot. It is kinda like the liquid version of DeBeers. Hold all supply and dictate price......we need to fight back somehow.

underdogus,,, You just figure that out ?? We aren''t going to leave.

Obama & Hillary figured that out a long time ago, we can''t leave - we just have to start getting it right & meet military commitments in Afhaganistan.

Has anyone been able to figure out why oil jumped $4.00 a barrell today? Here''s what I heard from a CNN investment analyst:

"Investors are worried that lowering demand for oil and gasoline will lead to tight supplies and tight supplies will lead to higher prices."

I''m trying not to laugh; seriously. How do you have tight supplies with lowering demand when oil is already at a 15 year high. Oil stockpiles are higher than when gas was selling for $0.99 a gallon. If I were this guy''s investment advisor, I would advise him to dump his oil and take the profits because this bubble is ready to pop.

The stagflation period of the 1970s was due to a genuine oil shortage. This spike is due to a bunch of clueless people buying oil because the price is going up. But the price is going up because clueless people are buying oil. The dollar is beginning to stablize, so people are buying in droves to milk it for all it''s worth.

Conservatives should not confuse thinking with being left. The mainstream media is hard right wing because they are profiting from the raping and pillaging of Iraq. The same multi-national corporations running our facist gov''t are profiting from our terrorism in Asia and the Middle East. Why do you think they supported it all along?

Slight correction infidel:
"Rather tried to torpedo Bush with his fake memos"

They were never PROVEN fake. Although to your credit, there was also not evidence saying they were true. His own secretary said they were "possibly" true. I still believe they were true. Just not proven. Mostly because all his records, DWI, military, etc. untouchable, unviewable in his fathers library. Nice.

It is true. It''''s a proven fact....the LAMEstream media is biased to the left.

The media goes after whatever is most profitable, regardless of consequences or how people interpret (or misinterpret). In that respect, the media is not left-wing, nor is it right-wing.

If what you rant were only true, then Ronald Reagan and GW Bush would have never been elected president.

It is true. It''s a proven fact....the LAMEstream media is biased to the left. Rather tried to torpedo Bush with his fake memos, but even palpatating libs need their ducks in a row to influence an election.

And things have changed a lot since Reagan was elected....twice.

The interesting thing here is that jamesm12341 is getting screwed just like ever other taxpayer. Does he think that his tax money goes into a special account that the wealthy can''t raid? Come on man, we''re in the same boat here and it is sinking fast. It doesn''t matter if you''re liberal or conservative the water is going to be cold. Throwing insults at each other isn''t going to accomplish anything. We need to respect each other even if we disagree and hope that, together, we can pull ourselves out of the mess that we''re in. God Bless America..PLEASE.
