Ga. Cops Say Kids Planned To Bind Teacher With Handcuffs And Stab Her With Steak Knife

What poosition are you taking ? If these kids were in school with my children i would want them out permanently. They should be placed in juvenile as evidently their parents haven''t taught them what is right and wrong. If they can plot tlike this in third grade what will they be capable of when they are adults. - Reply to this comment

Very true! I am trying to figure out why there are so many s-h-i-t parents.
If you are going to have a child, someone needs to be home to look after it. If you are both working you don''t have the time or patience to do it. I just look at it this way, if both parents have to work in order to have kids then don''t have any. - Reply to this comment
- Why is everyone so against the commandment do not kill? Is this setting a standard? Why do they want murders rapes stabbings etc and not the Ten commandments. When they had the commandments in schools the crime of the day was chewing gum in class. When they took it out all hell broke loose. Are we being told something?

- "Four mothers of other third-grade students at Center Elementary called for the immediate expulsion of the suspected plotters"
WOW, and what would that do other than give them the entire school day off as a vacation to plot revenge while the parents are at work, if they do?
" any student who brings "anything reasonably considered to be a weapon is to be expelled for at least the remainder of the school year. "
Big deal, a vacation for them where they will find something sinister to occupy those hours between 8 and 3
"We don''t want our children around them," Carter told the Times-Union. "The one with the knife could have stabbed my child or someone else''s child at lunch or out on the playground."
Coulda, shoulda, woulda but DIDNT, and those same kids can come back after school and do that, or follow your kid home and do it there if they WANTED to. - Reply to this comment
- Bet we read more about these lovely students someday in the future, the headlines will read something along the lines of
"...was arrested for the murder of 6 people in a supermarket,WGHA news learned that the accused man had been involved in a plot to murder his 3rd grade teacher 17 years ago, for which he receive councelling and 2 days suspension, his sister said "we had no idear he wuz capable ah dis kinda ting, none! dis was a camplete saprise!" - Reply to this comment
- we have really "progressed" since removing dork and the babble from school.

Oh yeah right, like having PRAYER and babble studies and the ten commandments in school is going to prevent THIS, you must live in fairyland.
Lets show the kids the babble where it directs readers to STONE TO DEATH the adulterers, where it says to get a perfect lamb KILL it, drain the BLOOD into a container, sprinkle the blood on your clothes, and dump the rest on the altar and then BURN the flesh as a sin offering for the LORD.
Yep, that will stop school violence! So will "Thou shalt not kill" followed by "The adulterers shall be STONED TO DEATH, their blood shall be upon them"
Yep, that will stop school violence alright!
The babble contains some of the WORST violence and descriptions of bloodshed there is, we don''t need kids reading this krap any more than playing ''Grand Theft Auto''
This is the result of *** parents who cant get along with each other, who are LOSERS in every sense of the word, who pop out mentally unstable misfits of children, who can''t raise them any better than a cat, pop them in front of the TV set all night and THIS is the result. - Reply to this comment
- Why is nothing said about the parents in this case? All of the focus is on the schools and the kids. Nobody is talking at all about the parents... who one would assume SHOULD be responsible for their offspring.

- I''''m just saying that the problem did not start in any one place, but has trickled down through the generations, the media, the environment, the schools.

Life and Death, Yin and Yang; blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. It''s all relative.
Didn''t God talk to God? was meant to say: Didn''t God talk to Cain? Does knowing God ensure all the graces endowed by the Creator? - Reply to this comment
- Thou shalt not kill. With all the crime and all the shootings and all the drop outs there will be no one left to go to school. Maybe then they will allow the Ten Commandments back in schools. Maybe if they thought they were going against God in all these cases they might of stop.

Seems to be, as I remember my Bible teaching, that both Cain and Abel were known and loved by God. Maybe Abel more than Cain, so in jealously Cain killed. Didn''t God talk to God? Also, while its moot on this topic, the commandment is: Thy Shall Not Commit Murder. People killed all the time. - Reply to this comment
- I feel that the problem here is that teachers are expected to teach accountability, responsibility, kindness, compassion, sympathy, mercy, generosity, morality, and all other quality aspects of human character. Teachers barely have time to teach non essential academic subjects like science or social studies. Teachers are expected to play the role of parent when they have no legal rights to be the parent. I''m not advocating that they should. I''m just saying that the problem did not start in any one place, but has trickled down through the generations, the media, the environment, the schools.
We have failed as a society, as a world. Perhaps when we teach that their are no absolute truths, then anything goes, anything is permissible. Even perhaps the most horrendous of crimes... - Reply to this comment
- Judging by the infinite occurances of violence in schools, we have really "progressed" since removing God and the bible from school. 3rd graders planning to stab the teacher???? Welcome to his replacement!

- These students were identified as "special needs", so the school systems hands are tied as to what can be done without lengthy due process hearings.
How do students get handcuffs? They sneak them out of the house just like the knives and tape-come on people you need to know what is in the homes that your children visit. - Reply to this comment
- How the hell did third graders obtain handcuffs? Posted by Timaran

- After having completed student teaching, I abandoned any idea of teaching. It''s just too dangerous in today''s classroom situation. I once asked a friend''s wife, who is a teacher, about the recent incident of a kid bringing a gun to the school in which she teaches (not that I knew there was such an incident, because I didn''t.) Her reply was, "How did you know? One of the kids brougt a gun to school, and it went off in the restroom." Truth is that I didn''t know. I just wanted to determine how bad it was getting out there in the school system.
But what can you expect with today''s kids who''ll kill their parents in their sleep for the insurance money? Want fewer wrinkles and grey hairs as you age? Then don''t have kids. Life without today''s kids is so much more peaceful and mellow. Only morons and idiots would have kids. - Reply to this comment
- Sorry about that. I get slightly irritated when people automatically assume that all of America''''s problems can be linked to taking God out of school. I do not see a reason to be rude about it, though.

Okay. I usually respond the same way to everyone who wants to know why the posts get somewhat off-topic, though. I don''t think that putting God back in schools will solve all the world''s problems, I think it has been a gradual turning away from God in all aspects of life that has landed the world in it''s current condition. It''s been going on for thousands of years and will continue. Only a fool says there is no God. - Reply to this comment
- School officials alerted police Friday after a pupil tipped off a teacher that a girl had brought a weapon to school. Tanner said the students apparently planned to knock the teacher unconscious with a crystal paperweight, bind her with the handcuffs and tape and then stab her with the knife.

These children could have heard "Jesus loves them." Oh no lets blame it on everything else except the persons, children, esteem not knowing they are loved.
I ask the readers "Are you loved." - Reply to this comment
