I just received an email from my daughter serving in Iraq. I did not know who to vote for so i had her ask her unit who they want to win the election. They all want Hillary as they feel she will pull them out of Iraq. I think we owe it to our troops so now my vote goes to Hillary. I said i would let everyone know what she found out so that is what i am doing.

Ice Man,
I think Hillary is a better example of arrogant than Bush.
Hillary or Bill exceed Bush''s arrogant quotient by several thousand times.

"The GOP truly is the grand-OLD party. Full of old and out of date ideas, most of which have already proven to fail."

Well, getcent,
Just wait til Obama or Hillary try the old and out of date ideas of raising taxes on everyone to ''punish the rich and evil corporations''.

Were you sentient during the Jimmy Carter Days of Malaise?
Well hold on, because we''re going to relive them 21st Century style.
You''re going to hate it.

Then where is my apology from Eddie Murphy and the Wayan Bros? They dressed up as white folk all in the name of comedy and put it in movie theaters across the country. How is that any different? If you can answer that question you would be the first one to do so since this article was written.

Well, there is a very fine line between portraying a character of another race in a comedy or drama and portraying a character of another race to directly focus on and lampoon the negative sterotypes commonly associated with that particular race. The Wayans Brothers may have crossed that line, if you believe that the whole point of there comedy was to disparge the White race. The actor that portrays Obama in Saturday Night Live, I think he is Asian, but his portrayal of Obama is not offensive to most because his role doesnt or has not yet implied negative stereotypes of Blacks. Its not offensive if one portrays another race in a comedy, but it becomes offensive when the portrayal is meant to ridicule and indict an entire race of people....

The only reason i''m even here is because i get a kick out of listening to others complain about things that we as normal people have zero control over. Sometimes it gets pretty *** funny. I can picture some of these people yelling and spit flying all over their monitor as they type.

What kind of insensite dolt would use a disparaging word like that on the internet??

I''m just kidding, if you mean a guy sitting in a recliner drinking beer watching sports on tv, then i guess the name fits.

the Dem party they can offer up a broccoli f-art in a jar and still gain the White House. What planet are you conservatives living on?%u201D

You tried that last election with Kerry and it didnt work. i would think if the dems want to win they would try like heck to get a single person on the ballot and start selling that one. Selling the public two options for one spot isnt going to work much longer. Great, now i want some broccoli; thanks a lot. Oh i forgot your a Liberal, the broccoli thing was an attempt at humor...just an attempt.

colts18_2000,
You gotta understand something about Liberals.
1. They have NO sense of humor.
2. They take EVERYTHING you say literally.

It must be a miserable existance being Liberal.

Seems as though another one turned tail rather than answer this question. That makes about twenty times now that no one has responded. Must have hit a nerve.

People relax. You are getting overwrought. Hillary and her sniper incident. Obama and the not so reverend Wright. You are missing the big picture. The big picture is the implosion of the Republican Party. Republicans like a bunch of lemmings that are following George W. Bush over the cliff of Iraq. They have earned it. They deserve it. And in November they are going to get it. Sorry, McCain

Actually i think i would panic, the Dems in-fighting could destroy their chances.

I believe Obama with his Charisma and ability to get ones attention would possibly make a great Pres. But right now i need to hear more about his plans and as long as the Dems keep fighting among themselves tha tmessage isnt getting out. Everday McCain gets to say what his plans are but as far as the Dems all we hear is why one is better than the other. This could potentially leave voters only hearing one voice. McCains. Remember last election, the only reason Bush won was because Kerry didnt ever say anything about what he was going to do. He bashed The republicans plans daily but never explained what he would do differently. Therefore a potentially bad plan was better than no plan. The real loss Was that Gore waited until after his failed run for Pres, to finally show America he wasnt a stiff, that he actually had a personality. That was probably the greatest loss right there. All in all the Dems have had some good people run and some good ideas but they always seem to be abouta year behind where they need to be and the Hillary/Obama slugfest is just another example. Lets hope this one turns out better than those in the past.
