---- All you''re doing is making excuses for Bush''s failures. -
-- Nothing of what Bush or McCain says is near the truth of the difficulties ----- Don''t even say you were there.
Here''s the facts on Basra alone.

- Hey bobmarisol,
On May 15, 1948, the American President advocated the creation of the State of Israel in the heart of the Moslem middle-east. 2 years later, 4.5 millions Palestinians were forced out of their homes and lands without compensation.
I am not going to say that this is Terrorism but I will say what a infinite price America is paying in Treasury and blood because of this religious decision 60 years ago. This price keeps exploding as long as we continue to provide UnConditional Support to Israel. I cannot believe we care a lot more of Israel than of ourselves.
2 weeks after 9/11, Osama Bin Ladin released his 1st video. In the video, he clearly listed the top 3 reasons for bombing the twin towers. The 1st reason was the US military base 60 miles from their Moslem''s holy Mecca inside Saudi Arabia. The 2nd reason was the Palestinian crisis.
On Osama Bin Ladin 2nd released video, Osama states that they will destroy America Economically and not Militarily. So far, they are winning.
According to a recent report by CNN.com, Anti-Semitics is exploding around the world. I just sit here and wonder why? Personally, I blame only the Zionists inside Israel. - Reply to this comment

Tbweb - are you referring to when Murtha accused our troops of ''''killing innocent Iraqis in cold blood''''?? The troops he was talking about were later exonerated (found completely innocent), yet Murtha has never apologized. Sure sounds like he''''s on the side of the troops.
Of course, the Dems love to say they are ''on the side of the troops'' or that they ''support the troops'' - yet the Dems wont acknowledge the successes the troops have achieved in Iraq. Dems like Harry Reid say ''the war is lost'' even though violence has dropped 60% in the last 12 months and Al Queda is on the run and political progress has been made.
Posted by bobmarisol at 11:56 AM : Mar 27, 2008,,,
Yes, how about that, Jack Murtha never apologized once the troops were exonerated! The U.S. Military is doing an awesome job in Iraq and being shorthanded in Afghanistan! Its ironic, in ''Nam I always felt like we were shorthanded, there were never enough troops or resources, which is normal for Marines, who always seem to get it done shorthanded! The real problem with Iraq is that the U.S. Military is being asked to do something it shouldn''t be asked to do, and thats win a Political victory with a Military solution. - Reply to this comment
- Folks,
Read the headlines on cnn.com, we may have to send US troops to Pakistan since they really hate us now thanks to the recent action by our idiot Bush.
Incidentally, the only 2 options to this US troops Resource problem is the DRAFT and pass a War Tax to fund it or Get Out Now. - Reply to this comment

- People who vote for Republicans are very angry right now. They feel somewhat responsible for our brothers and sisters dying in Iraq, and they should, but that does not mean that because you voted for a warmonger in the last few elections that you have to continue to do so.
Do not let your guilt get in the way of your intelligence!
By the way, where are the centrist Republicans? Why does the GOP have to have a big rubber stamp as a constituency?
I would rather have a "inexperienced" Democrat wasting a billion on helping the poor or disabled or uneducated, than have a neo-con Republican blow a billion on killing tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi and thousands of US service men and women.
In the last 8 years or so Republicans have shown me that they will do anything and everything in their power to keep you from retaining an opinion based on the facts that their incompetence is comprised of.
The deception metastasizes as the months and causalities mount......The President who was never deigned to go to Dover Air Force Base to salute the fallen who are coming home says no photographs of their coffins can be permitted because that would hurt the feelings of the families. This is false, tragically false; the real reason is that day after day the photos would starkly reveal the price of Bush%u2019s folly. - Reply to this comment

TomTerrorist - if that is your way of thinking, I suggest you go join Al Queda where you belong. I''''m sure you and Bin Laden will be good friends.
As for your idiotic and murderous ideology, I challenge you to name just one Israeli that flew a plane into the World Trade Center? Or name one Jew that attacked the USS Cole? Or name one Jew that has attacked USA troops in Iraq or Afghanistan, or anywhere else?

- bobmarisol- The people killing eachother inIraq are IRAQIS, not AQ. The Pentagon says that AQ only make up %1 of the fighters in Iraq. The rest are deemed to be "insurgents", which means they live in Iraq.......IRAQ IS NOT THE WAR ON TERROR.....IT IS THE WAR FOR OIL.......

- bobmarisol... Here''s another casualty of War lead by your GOP ---- Afhaganistan.
To arm the Afghan forces that it hopes will lead this fight, the American military has relied since early last year on a fledgling company led by a 22-year-old man whose vice president was a licensed masseur.
Much of the ammunition comes from the aging stockpiles of the old Communist bloc, including stockpiles that the State Department and NATO have determined to be unreliable and obsolete, and have spent millions of dollars to have destroyed.

- JERSupporter said- "I voted in this Democratic Congress and they still have NOT done anything about Iraq. So when are the troops coming home? I thought the Democratic Congress promised that when they were running? ......"
Go question....the answer is easy.....the Dems DONT HAVE ENOUGH CONTROL over Congress. We need to vote more Dems into Congress. They did not have the power to stop the Republicans from obstructing the PROCESS THAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HOPED TO BEGIN........ - Reply to this comment
- Of course, you Dems don''''t like General Petraus. After all, it was you liberals that called him ''''General Betray Us'''' just because he said we can win the war.
