- Well, duh! Destroying hard-drives has been standard government and military procedure since the 1990''''s. You are not allowed to transfer a computer, or take it out of service, without first having the hard-drive deguassed or physically destroyed.
If these so-called ''''investigators'''' don''''t even know that, what good are they?
If the investigators are ignoring it, they should be disbarred for with-holding key facts.

WHILE what was on those computers was a subject of investigation and WITHOUT backing the data up? Man are you drinking something?? Whatever it is I want some. The LAW requires them to retain this information... it''s the LAW for God''s sake!! - Reply to this comment
- My reference to terrorist attacks and how they can sway elections, mostly comes from the Madrid train bombings in Spain. Though the voters in Spain overwhelmingly voted for the anti-Bush/anti-war candidate(s), the completely opposite could happen here in the U.S., where the pro-war/pro-Bush candidate (McCain) is elected by a sizable margin. And I emphasize "could"!

I am referring to "all bets are off" as to which way/who the independents will be swayed to vote for in November... that is assuming a terrorist attack occurs before the election. Also, my "all bets are off" can also apply to what would happen after the elections if a major terrorist attack occurs in the U.S., in terms of if or how long Bush will implement Marshal Law.

- I find this funny, they use Microsoft Exchange and e-mails are stored in servers and not workstations. I think they have a better excuse when they said that the chinese hackers erased it.

My dog ate my e-mails.
"The Iraq War is a just and noble cause."
"Brownie did a heck of a job."
"I''m the Decider and I say that Rumsfeld stays."
"Wait a minute. What did you just say? You''re predicting $4-a-gallon gas? ... That''s interesting. I hadn''t heard that."

- Actualy I expect the BUSH Neo Criminals to start a war with Iran in Sept 2008 in an attempt to throw the election to McCane.
Sept would be about right try to stampede the voters into voting for Mr Armed Services McCane.
Sept... or Oct 2008 there will be a precipitating incident. They figure McCane will cover their A$$e$ while they escape to Bushes new ranch in Paraguay (no political extradition).

That sounds about right. I was expecting something big to happen within two months before or after the election in November.
However, an invasion/war with Iran would most likely turn the independents completely off of McCain. The independents are going to drive the elections this year, (as they do in most years). The vast majority of independents (as myself) believe that the war in Iraq was a bad idea, and a new war with Iran is completely out of the question. The only thing a war with Iran would do is rally the base of the GOP, but that won''t be enough to win the Presidency alone.

- SHRUB Prepares to Flee War Crimes!
"An Argentine official regarded the intention of the George W. Bush family to settle on the Acuifero Guarani (Paraguay) as surprising, besides being a bad signal for the governments of the region. Luis D Elia, undersecretary for the Social Habitat in the Argentine Federal Planning Ministry, issued a memo partially reproduced by digital INFOBAE.com, in which he spoke of the purchase by Bush of a 98,842-acre farm in northern Paraguay, between Brazil and Bolivia." - Reply to this comment
- The Bushies are criminals with no respect for the law. They will get away with this, and nothing will be done until the White House is run by patriots and not this traitor scum.

That''s assuming Bush and Cheney leave their office on the date that they are supposed to. It wouldn''t surprise me one bit if a convenient terrorist attack in the U.S. occurred, (after the Democrats sweep both branches in the elections). This would give Bush the green light to implement NSPD #51 (National Security Presidential Directive #51) as well as portions of the John Warner Defense Authorization Act, declaring a near permanent Marshal Law across the U.S. and the Congress will no longer have the authority to oversee it or change it or stop it!!!
Thus shredding the Constitution and allowing Bush and Cheney to remain in power indefinitely, or until they see fit to leave! - Reply to this comment
- It is very hard to believe that ANYTHING was destroyed regarding government business, legal or not!
The Great Emperor Bush II is a paranoid tyrant and paranoid tyrant''s love to hang on to things no matter how trivial or damaging. After all, look at Nixon and the White House tapes that pulled the trigger on him and Watergate! Nixon could have gotten rid of those tapes, there would have been no evidence against him, and he would have completed his 2nd term. Instead, The Trickster held on to them because they were "his legacy", and even though he erased some 20 minutes of one, there was enough on the other tapes to hang him!
Today, you have the Great Emperor Buh II saying that not only the e-mails, but the entire computers and hard drives don''t exist anymore. Given the "truthfullness" of the Great Emperor Bush in the past, you can bet that all those computers with their hard drives intact are sitting in the basement of the Bush Library behind locked doors, not to see the light of day until the sun goes supernova or some contract worker finds them!
SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!!
sig heil (more of the same), McCain???? - Reply to this comment
- If today''s computer technology was available during the time of the Nixon administration...
...the Watergate scandal may have never occurred, thus preventing Nixon from resigning.
Oh how lucky George W is! For he and his regime to be able to ignore the law and have all the technology at their fingertips to be able to do it.
This goes to my all time favorite saying:
"The advancements of modern technology have made people easier to use." - Reply to this comment

- The computers were used for illegal activity, by the Rovian Mafia. Now, even Hardcore Republicans must realize that these guys are crooks! I would like to see one of those who voted for this Fascist regime, have the courage to admit their mistake and apologize.
