"Ten women are among the seminary''s full-time faculty of 116. Only one works in the theology division and she teaches only women''s classes".

I just realized that CBS is so sensational and lies ... the report contradicts the headline .. like usual ..

PITIFUL !!

Finally a judge who felt that a seminary can tenure who they want ..

This is just like all the unions that hold cities and towns hostage .. and no one has the guts to fire the employees who do not deserve the position ..

Good for the seminary, good for the public .. let her go to another university to teach .. there are thousands of them to choose ...

a verse in 1st Timothy in which the Apostle Paul says, "I permit no woman to teach or have authority over a man."

I think when I go to work Monday morning I''ll tell my human resources department this and see if they''ll boot my female supervisor out of her position and replace her with me LOL

Zealous religious fanatics come in all flavors. Here is the hell fire and damnation version of it. Again, the foundation of such zealousness to be religious is brought on by sheer ignorance and the inability to think for one self.

What''s next? In Leviticus 25:44-45 it justifies slavery. Maybe corporations will fall back on those verses to defend using slave labor someday.

Well I happen to be Baptist and a women, I do not believe I am treated like a second class citizen. In our Church we just believe the Bible. The Bible says your either for God or against Him, You can''t "ride the fence". Sometimes satin blinds people from the "truth". But everyone needs to know even satin bows down to God.

Just a couple...

All those who pray to Dubya must do at least five times a day while facing in the direction of Crawford TX

Speaking out against the Iraq war will be considered an act of heresy as it practically was in 2002-2003.

Oil will replace holy water during Mass.

Again, the Baptist Church treats women like second class citizens-in the 21st Century, folks! But this is a practice that goes on in thousands of cultures, today. Religion is good to a point, but defrauds the rest of the way. Science has revealed gender differences quite clearly-and the real scientifically researched role of the male quite distinct and oh how they clamor to hang on to it! And to think we allow these religious people to impose their fantastic beliefs in their teaching lessons in school. The bible has lots of great "stories" and "stories" they are! Lessons should be rooted in scientifically research nature''s "truth" not gender controlled fantasies! But then, our constitution gives us unalienable rights to liberty and justice and we have the right to choose who will poison our brains and hearts. Suffer the little lambs who blindly and faithfully hang on to the prejudiced misguidance of the male authors of the bible! Most people lack intellect to discrimminate between common sense and whitewashed lies! Constitution on not are you going to be stupid enough to believe gender biased information that is not rooted in truth but rooted in lies? Remember you have the "right" to choose--stupid!
