To those of you debating the question of why men do these types of things. Have you ever experienced a ***? Those things are great. Boobs are way up on the scale of things to see and touch too. Oh yeah and some wives stop having *** and gain weight when they get married which is just plain unattractive.

Why would he need an escort service at all?

Prostitution might be illegal but escort services are not.
He used the services of an escort company, he did not pick up a prostitute from the streets.
Therefore, Governor Spitzer didn''t brake any laws and should remain in office.

It''s not a question of whether he broke the law. He disgraced himself and showed that he is a true hypocrit. That is why he must resign.

Also keep in mind that he used his own money.

devestating debt and lasting international reputation and economic fallout that this country may never recover from... not to mention what we still don''''t know about 9-11 and the synchronized Anthrax attacks against the people of this country...Posted by samael2014

As for Foley...Posted by samael2014

And how old was the teen...18! Is it illegal for an 18 year old to have a nasty e-mail conversation with an old perv? Sorry, but no. You hate *** but it''s not against the law to be one.

Your argument doesn''t hold any water so just give it up.

As for W., he is the president and did get authorization to go to war, whether you think it was right or not. No crime committed there. Now if he and Cheney were over there slitting throats themselves, you''d have a crime.

Accept it, Spitzer got caught breaking the law...just like Clinton did. They are not above the law and as Clinton paid, so shall Spitzer. This is not about their personal lives being violated, it''s about the LAW BEING BROKEN.

There will now be an army of h00kers approaching Spitzer offering "privacy" and significantly reduced rates! With all this free advertising about what he likes this could turn out to be a s.e.x. windfall for Spitzer!

$80,000.00 for a piece of arse? Wow, talk about stupid. I mean the way the Republicans talk about how people are having too much *** with too many different partners, one would think that Spitzer could have gotten all he wanted for the price of a drink.

Perhaps he should stick to *** under bathroom stalls. (Still qualifies as cheating on the spouse though, no matter what your orientation.)

do people cheat on their spouses - yes
do people use prostitutes - yes
are these prostitutes unwilling participants - no
would this be a huge deal for a regular citizen - no

However, Spitzer has had little to no support because of his lack of political savy and his potential of actually having a positive impact on New York State was of serious concern prior to this. Now, his chances are nill and he must go.

samael2014,

The first democrat apologist of the morning. I believe the statute of limitations were up on Vitter, so no criminal charges. I''''m sure you have proof that Foley is a ''''documented child s e x preditor'''', right?

Just like a good goose stepping lib. Keep drinking the Kool Aid.

Classic Republican. Maslow''s heiarchy lower level right?

Guilt is not in the act of commiting a crime or its scope, but in getting caught and the penalty society imposes on you regardless.

As I said... Vitter violated prostitution laws in Washington D.C. and admitted to doing so .. but only after he was identified doing so.

As for Foley...

Maf54: do you really do it face down
Teen: ya
Maf54: kneeling
Teen: well i don''t use my hand...i use the bed itself
Maf54: where do you unload it
Teen: towel
Maf54: really
Maf54: completely naked?
Teen: well ya
Maf54: very nice
Teen: lol

... and then there''s the Bush Administration, crimes against the Constitution and international war crimes against humanity resulting in the death''s of hundreds of thousands of innocents and devestating debt and lasting international reputation and economic fallout that this country may never recover from... not to mention what we still don''t know about 9-11 and the synchronized Anthrax attacks against the people of this country... thanks to an administration that could care less about the transparency of government and Congressional oversight of executive office activity and disappearing electronic and paper trails from an administration that despite it''s best efforts, still has an enormous document of lying to Congress and the American people and other very serious sociopathic behavior. Oh and did I mentioned uncharged (except where pardoned) and unimpeached of anything.

Yes... there definitely is no comparison
