- They carry guns in a lot of areas in NC like most people carry a wallet. Every day you read about shootings etc like big fricken cowboys.

- well,nicely put..but i believe better to have and not need than need and not have...all your examples have flip sides..like at the very least scaring away intruders and /or protecting your family from crazed lunatics....i dont waiting for a violent criminal to have a change of heart when he /she is about to rape or kill one of your family members is sensible..no pun intended.

- I am a firm believer that everyone who owns a gun including me should be required to be trained properly.
But the NRA won''t hear of such a thing they spend more time supporting the Republicans then they do trying to stop mis-use of guns. Keep up the good work boys now you know why I don''t support your cause.

- This girl was not murdered by some thug, black or white. She was murdered by her married faculty member sugar daddy after she threatened to tell his wife about their relationship.
